I've heard of that place once. Seems really amazing but I've heard you have to secure your place long in advance because the spots fill up really fast
Hello Passionne
This reminded me of Bond delicacies

Yes, I thought of that when I ordered it. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I was very surprised. Even though it was much like the fine delicacy I heard it was I still had visions of the unpalatable beef liver until I tried it. Now I know better. It actually seems to melt in one's mouth as you eat it.
As to your link, I have no idea what the quality of packaged fois gras is, but I experienced it freshly prepared at a high end restaurant staffed by French chefs in Montreal.
Cheers.
Mmm just thinking about dimsum with stewed honeycomb beef tripe and braised chicken feet. Nasty bits of the animal cooked to perfection.

That gallery of dimsum is pornographic!

Best thing about Vancouver is the sheer volume of quality and diversity of Asian food available.

Just curious how good are the French boulangeries and patisseries are in Vancouver? The first thing I get to eat when I land in Montreal is a good croissant and a nice baguette with some butter. Honestly no good baked goods in Calgary.
in Calgary.
