I`m really not into exotic food but that doesn`t mean I haven`t tried what some would considered off the beaten path food.
Raw eggs, fried insects like grasshoppers and worms, cow brain, prairie oysters, rattle snake. bear, alligator and donkey and who knows what else in Cambodia.
Honestly I am not into exotic food but I will try anything once (except dog or cat)

Nope. Slaughter & consumption of dog & cats has been a criminal offense in Hong Kong since 1950.

Other parts of Asia...unfortunately yes

Unbelievably...it's legal to slaughter and consume dogs and cats in Canada.

I ate seal meat once, raw, up north. It was the most rubbery, blubbery thing I have ever eaten in my life.

I also ate eel, which was still jumping around after being chopped up and cooked. The eel I caught myself fishing. The seal was courtesy of the people I was staying with and was much more difficult to swallow and chew.

I would eat neither again.

I had "cui" in Peru, which is the national dish. Basicaly its a rustic very country stew, the only thing is that guinea pig is use dor meat. They raised them, running free in their house for most of them, texture and taste is very close to rabbit, both being rodents and feeding off the same diet. I liked it and had it on several occasions since I spent a lot of time there.

Besides that I've had, here and in europe, snails, eel, frog legs, horse meat tartar etc. but I dont really consider these to be exotics as they are quite commun dish.

Around the corner
Monkey brains and pickled webbed duck feet.
Both in China and both when out with suppliers, didn’t want to offend them and tried it, should have offended them instead , both were horrible along with their shit shots of whatever they call their alcohol which sometimes tastes as if you were syphoning gas from your car, depending on which region of China you are in.
There was no way I was going to try all the different roasted insects being sold on the street or anything being sold there as they were washing their food on the street with a hose before cooking it and their streets were like a garbage dump. They all had the same rotting horrible smell.

Real Chinese food actually is horrible, the Americanized stuff you get here I like, couldn’t wait to get back to the hotels we were staying in to have some decent food.

Russia I had beluga caviar and don’t quite get why this stuff costs in the thousands, tastes horrible like salty fish eggs, which is what it is , didn’t notice too much difference from the cheap stuff you can buy here, not a fan of either.. The pickled eel they had me try was even worse.
Otherwise Russian food has many similar things like the rest of Europe and is ok, nothing to write home about.

Definitely sushi! I love eating sushi! Many of the guys that I grew up with think that you should not eat sushi but I just cannot resist it. I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but sushi is my favorite food.

Sushi is not exotic anymore. Over 95% of escorts love it....that`s a bigger percent than the ones who love to suck your balls.
BTW I once asked an escort what type of wine she would like to drink. She asked what we were planning to eat. I replied pussy & clit. She then said red wine cause it`s pink meat.

Sorry for spoiling the appetite to all sushi lovers but you should consider this:

https://www.washington.edu/news/2020/03/19/sushi-parasites-have-increased-283-fold-in-past-40-years/

Unlike DATY, the raw uncooked fish is generally unsafe these days :D
