Parque Lleras would be fine, because most of your girl contact would be online, typically. They can come straight to your place without ever going to Parque Lleras anyway, but I would tend to think that if the cops are hassling anybody it would be the odd girl in the park looking to pick up stray gringos. It's a popular area because it's surrounded by eating and drinking establishments. . It's the safest and most gringo friendly area because English is more widely spoken there. I usually stay in Laureles which makes the girls happier because they travel less and it's cheaper to stay. It's easier for me because I speak fluent Spanish. Generally speaking if you're not an obnoxious tourist wearing hawaiian shirts and being loud with the girls then it's unlikely to be an issue barring a specific active crackdown, which I've never seen there. They warn you of any potential dangers. Canada issues high risk travel advisories against going to the Bahamas or Belgium, for example. They assume a level of complete stupidity and ignorance on the part of the traveler and warn to the lowest common denominator. Scopolamine can be an issue in Colombia but it's defeated by common sense travel measures. never leave drinks or food unattended and don't accept drinks or food from strangers, which is what you should do no matter where you travel. Using FB to locate and contact well known women is significantly different than reaching out to someone through a dating app. Again, common sense precautions rule, as they would be meeting any stranger. Know where you shouldn't go walking at night and avoid those places. Use taxis instead of walking if there's a concern.Use the same rules of thumb with escort sites there that you would here. Once you have a circle of contacts you'll never have to worry about that stuff again.

People have an impression of Colombia that comes from 80's action flicks and Pablo Escobar. Colombia is nothing like that anymore. The truth is that Colombia is a pretty nice country to visit with lots of interesting places to see, and the women are absolutely stunning. What is true though is that you should visit urban environments and generally stay there (or beaches like Santa Marta or the like) Some of the jungle and border areas are pretty sketchy and you should avoid them.
