In 2014, I went to The Beatles in Montreal exhibit at the Pointe-A-Calliere. There were many cool exhibits there like John's Rolls-Royce

But what I loved the best was the full video of their famous last concert on the roof of their business office. I stayed and watched it twice because I had never seen it before. One of my very favorite John songs -Don't Let Me Down.

Norwegian Wood (Rubber Soul)
Another underrated song.

First song where Harrison plays the sitar, which caused quite a bit of trouble when recording the song. It's credited with Lennon / McCartney, although it was primarily Lennon who composed it.

It is John Lennon weekend on Sirius Beatles channel (in celebration of what would have been his 80th birthday) and I heard them play Norwegian Wood. Sene, the video you posted is blocked. An unblocked link:

They mentioned on Sirius Radio this morning that John's favorite two songs that he wrote with the Beatles, which he described as "pyschoanalysis put to music", were "Help" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" which I have posted below. Of "Help", Lennon said in his Playboy interview, "the whole Beatles thing was just beyond comprehension. I was subconsciously crying out for help". Lennon based the latter song on his childhood memories of playing in the garden of Strawberry Field, a Salvation Army children's home in Liverpool.

I had heard that live version before, but never saw the video. The only problem with the video is where is 5th Beatle Billy Preston on electric piano? He is heard but not seen.

I have never seen this post on any of the videos I have posted.

It's certain that if I had seen this, I never would have worn it.

I respect the laws.

I put another video, i hope it's ok?

I did a search on the thread and the only post in 3,413 on the band Chicago was by Lily-Rose earlier in the thread. It was also Lily-Rose who was the only poster who posted a song by Elvis Presley, until I came along and did so. Perhaps the single Lily-Rose post on Chicago could be viewed as even more of a travesty because they are a bit more modern than Elvis. Lily posted "Colour My World", which is not really one of my favorites from this group, and I wanted to post my favorite.

In my opinion, Chicago stands out in rock music history as a band which expertly incorporated horns into their music. I believe a shining example of this talent is their classic "Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?" This song was on their debut 1969 album but because it was not released as a single until 1970 after the success of "Make Me Smile" and "25 to 6 to 4", it gets heavy play on Sirius 70s channel. The song was written to showcase the talent of Chicago trumpet player Lee Loughnane, and certainly succeeds in that obective:

Chicago, Beginnings

We were very young and carefree. It was my first girlfriend's favorite song.
Mainly from the trumpet solo.

What orchestration.

Audioslave, Like a stone

I don't know very well this group, but I love this song.

Audioslave is an American rock supergroup from Los Angeles, formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2007, it was made up of singer and guitarist Chris Cornell, former member of Soundgarden, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk , former members of Rage Against the Machine.

Look behind you.
Arc Angels were a blues rock band formed in Austin, Texas in the early 1990s. The band was composed of guitarist and singers Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton and two former members of Stevie Ray Vaughan's band Double Trouble, drummer Chris Layton and bassist Tommy Shannon. The 'Arc' in the band's name came from the Austin Rehearsal Complex where the band first started jamming.[1]
