Get on one of those group trips to Russia with like-minded gentlemen. You'll meet lots of ladies. The problem, if you don't speak the language, is determining which of them will become dream brides and which will do their best to take your money, cheat on you etc. once they get their immigration and marriage certificate.

I don't condone his behaviour taking advantage of desperately poor women, but I know of a Russian who brings a woman over as his fiance and sends her back after 6 months with nothing.

There was a recent program on U.S. cable tv. I think it was on MSNBC. It profiled an agency in Russia that was legitiment but some of the things the grooms did was wrong. I'm sure there are others that can be trusted and from other countries also. Good Luck and be careful.

Hello Bean,

Just a few key excerpts from this site. You may find more very interesting.

TED Case Studies
Case 487: Russian Mail Order Brides

http://www1.american.edu/ted/bride.htm

"Bring me a ring for I am longing to be the envy of all I can see"

Another cause of the plethora of available Russian brides is that a major part of Russian culture for women is marriage. From the earliest times, marriage was seen as the most important point in a woman's life. Conventional wisdom considers any women over the age of twenty-two an old maid. Russian women also face statistical barriers. There are 3,361,255 more women than men aged 15-64. Due to the deteriorating health system and the high rate of heart disease, the average life expectancy for men is 58 years while the life expectancy for women is 71. As a result, women have been under immense pressure to marry. Marriage and motherhood are major cornerstones in Russian culture.

"…find me a find, catch me a catch."

Russian women want something better. A large number of Russian women prefer American men. "'Our [Russian] men treat women like objects…They drink, they smoke, they have bad hygiene and care only about themselves. These Americans don't smoke or drink. They really seem to want to settle down and take care of their family.'"But what about these "dream men"? What draws successful Western men towards mail-order bride agencies? The majority of men who participate in these services are white, educated, around 37 years old, and are ideologically conservative. These men are tired of "career-obsessed" women and see Russian women as less materialistic and more appreciative of men. Many men are just frustrated by the American dating scene.

"Match-maker, Match maker, I'll bring the veil, you bring the groom, slender and pale."

The process for finding a mail-order bride can be relatively simple and accessible but not inexpensive. According to some sources, there are over 600 agencies on the internet that provide "introduction services" or match-making for the former Soviet Union.24 One website, (www.rwguide.com) offers some advice in choosing an agency. Its criteria include

* That the agency should screen the criminal background of its ladies
* That the operation have offices in either the US or Western Europe as well as Russia
* That it accepts credit cards
* That offer support services and video offers be either free or at a nominal fee

"The Love Boat soon will be making another run. The Love Boat promises something for everyone. Set a course for adventure, your mind on a new romance..."

The next step of the process is trying to meet one's prospective choices. The majority agencies offer special "romance" or "love tours" to Russia. For about $3000 -$5000, a hopeful man can expect

* Round-trip airfare
* Transportation to and from the airport
* 13 night stay at a 4 star hotel
* One 4 hour guided tour of the city
* One Intimate Social
* 3 Large Socials
* 24 hour hospitality service
* On-going intriductions
* Full buffet brunch daily
* Free 3 month platinum membership and EZ-DO-IT Fiancee Visa Kit
* "New Applicants Interview" sessions

Well it's not the dark ages anymore so unless you get someone from the bushes, you are bringing over someone with the personality of your future mother-in-law... :cool: PLUS you have to imagine the M.O.B. (hey, interesting acronym eh!?! haha) primary goal is to find a sponsor to get into the country, after that... you're kinda useless to them.

im not looking to fall in love either, i just want sum one home in the kitchen wen i get back from work then in the bed with me at night
OK, my POV is ... unless ur living the highlife and a true high roller, you can't have your cake and eat it too. Even then, your wife wouldnt touch the house work because you'd have a housekeeping staff of 2-5, plus cook, gardener, pool person, etc. The whole housekeeper / hot sex duality thing ... well, it just can't be sustained by anyone with an IQ higher than 25.

Correct me if im wrong but..... say this is real and a hot bride does marry someone and move to north america.

If the couple divorces, isnt the man still responsible for her up to 7 years after the sponsorship?

I think in the US it's 3 or 5 yrs depending on the "alien's" residency status. In Canada, I believe it's 3yrs. I'm no lawyer but I play one during certain SP sessions. haha Seriously, the divorce issue is a whole other can o'worms... assets get thrown into the mix. It's all bad news!

I think that you should assume that they're all human trafficing, fraud, and/or extortion scams run by organized crime. You're not going to get a runway model wife/maid via Fedex, especially from countries that aren't 3rd world (i.e. Russia and Ukraine). If you're not looking for love and just want someone to cook and warm the sheets at night, look for a single mom on welfare and be her sugar daddy. Alternatively, you could moonlight as a drug dealer; this will at least get you someone to fuck - as for someone to cook too, good luck with that!

1 MOB = SP + Cook + Cleaning Lady

SP (3/week, not too espensive) = 150*3 = 450/week

Cook (restaurant 3x/day) = (5+15+25)*7 = 315/week

Cleaning Lady = 60/week

Total = MOB = 825/week

It's not too bad. But compared with all the trouble of finding one, not get scammed (or worst) and having to be responsible for an unknown person for X years? Your choice, but if you have difficulty judging the personality of a girl from here, imagine trying to do it for a person from a different culture.
That is the way to live. Spend more every week on SPs than anything else. Good thought process. :D The difference in cultures could ruin the whole thing.:p

sweetwater, now ur talkin'!

The other option... cleaning person that offer FS! Think I saw a lady advertising that. That's brilliant thinking and she could easily build a great biz off that idea. Ad could read: Cleaning lady will details your home and adds nice touches like fluffing your pillows and fluffing you! Call Now!
