When a SP asks you to "uber me?" What is the procedure dealing with Uber from a newbie?

I will meet a SP this coming Saturday, and what she asked me to do, in order to secure an outcall date, is "to uber me" to get there. I know nothing about Uber, other than the fact that it is a taxi-like alternative. What am I to do here? I know there is an app for Uber. So do I first download the app, and then what? The SP has factored in an amount to cover for the Uber ride. What does it mean, "to uber me?" Thanks to all.

DL app to phone, create an account so u can log into app. Add a credit card so uber can charge you for rides.

you will need an address from her to be picked up from.

Then you need your address (as her destination address).

Uber app will show you a map and give you pricing options, diff kinds of cars ,etc.. you pick what you want and you will see how long it takes for a car to show up for pickup and time of arrival to destination (to you).

I'm sure since uber existed 10 yrs now? you can just youtube something of this.

The driver tend to still pick up the passenger even though it is not you....

there is also a txt messaging system within uber app between YOU and the app algorithm assigned driver to you to communicate before arrival.

hope this helps

i'm finding it a touch odd that a provider u've not previously met? is having you handle the transportation arrangement. maybe this person does not want her ride app to have a history of her trips of this kind.

Or it is a way to say transportation is not included in the asking price. If he orders the car and is paying, it isn't a timewaister making her spend money for transportation to see him.
It is an alternative to requesting a deposit.

Hi, Rebaynia. Transportation was listed in the asking price, FYI. I agree with Kabukicho. Something doesn't sit right here. I might add that I found this person on LL. In any case, I'm taking her off the list, and I will replace her with either a Vog or Sensation SP.

I almost always ask for a Uber Gift Card if the location is not downtown because if I show up and it was a fake call, I’m in the middle of nowhere and I have to go back home. If it’s downtown, at least I can stop and have a drink or a coffee somewhere that I know.

If the person doesn’t send a gift card, I simply don’t go.

Because I know some men are married, I instruct them on how to use a physical gift card that they can buy cash to not leave traces.

One thing I would never do is let someone send me a Uber. I would have no way to know where they’re sending me and that simply feels unsafe to me.

Exactly, LC18. But that's exactly what she did. But why would she ask to send her an uber when it was already factored into the price?

I would ask the client for the address beforehand, and confirm with the driver to make sure it's the same. But I only go to hotels anyway, so it's an option for me if sending a deposit is not ideal.

"Uber me" could mean sending a gift card or it could mean sending the uber to pick her up. It's often used as a way to make sure the client is serious. For having experienced fake bookings several dozens of times a year in my first few years as an escort (before I could screen), trust me, it sucks getting ready and paying out of pocket for a uber to and back from a place where nobody was waiting for you. You can thank the prank bookers for the fact we are more cautious :/

This, but also, typically when you uber someone else, you have the option of Uber sending them a text with a link where they can also track the ride on their phone!

So her rate is $350 and the $50 is already for transportation but she still asks you to send her a Uber? That doesn’t make sense.

Normally you would say it’s $300 + a $50 gift card or e-transfers whatever method you use

Someone told me that you can change the destination even if you’re already in the Uber which is what scares me

The person would see that on their phone and could request to be left out of the car (I think?), but eiher way, I agree that it's much safer to send a gift card instead. We can never be too safe

Her rate is $480 for 2hrs, and the uber is $10.

I took it to mean that I send her the uber.

I should not be the one to deal with the transportation issue. This is ridiculous. I could just send her a deposit to cover her ride, but the cost for uber is already factored in the price of the 2hrs. Frankly speaking, I don't like uber at all.

Personally, the option to "uber me" there and back is only an alternative to sending a deposit. I'm not leaving unless I know my ride is covered. So it isn't my first choice but some people prefer this over sending a deposit.

I can't say I've been particularly concerned about the person changing the address midway... I'm not sure what the goal would be. And the uber driver would for sure say something anyway.

And don't give your home address for the pick-up! Give an address a few blocks away and walk there lol
