Come to think of it, what is the point of reviews?

When you do a review ... best to include your personal tastes as they give an unconscious bias to what you say.
There are so many factors that can taint a review. I agree that you should state your personal taste. I preferred voluptuous brunettes that have a natural body. For SPs, Peyton was my gold standard (gorgeous face with an exotic look and natural C cup with a perfect little ass and a total sweetheart) but she was somewhat shorter than I typically like.
Judy, formerly of Devilish and now an indy at Judy's Secrets, had the most incredible body I came across (she is taller at 5'7). I never met Brittany/ Lynne of Eleganza but many here claim she has the best body. Maude of XXXtase was probably the best looking all round SP I met (face & body). But a body is just physical. Samy and Sylvia Vixen (who has the cutest face to go with that body) are a little more fuller than these ladies but they have sex appeal which is a huge turn-on.
However, the best looking sex workers
by far are MPs and not SPs. Go see Kim, Maya, Vickie of Kama or Jessy of Salon Evasion (former Emmanuelle of Salon d'Or) and tell me what you would pay to have sex with them. (side note here: Peyton of Celine's also worked as an MP before joining Celine's. She was never comfortable with either job).
I also think it is important to be honest when reviewing an SP. Does she know your board handle?; what time did you see her (wee hours of the morning towards the end of her shift)?; was she in a good mood when she walked in the door?; did she suggest you take a shower together (a classic hint that you stink)?
You should also be honest of how much experience you have with ladies in general and what goddess you consider beautiful. My true gold standard of a beautiful lady is Cindy Crawford. She is a perfect 10 on 10 for me, even now in her forties. I think a lot of guys claim ladies to be gorgeous when in reality they're average (but maybe they provided a good service so guys want to inflate their looks). One example: 5'5 125 is fat for me but may be just right for someone else.
On the service front, be honest with what you like. If you like CIM, then state it. If doggie is your favorite position, then state it. Your honesty there would allow others to gauge what to expect from the lady.
I looked for a few things in reviews. Is she smart, beautiful and easy-going. If she was YMMV, I tended to be more intrigued because it indicated to me that she will not do anything with just anyone. I preferred someone who was a little feisty than a total pushover.
If you really think about all the biases we bring to reviews and all the factors that can taint reviews, you wonder what is really the point of writing reviews. The experienced hobbyist will know how to filter out the important elements from reviews in order to make sure he increases his chances of having a nice encounter.
