who has it easier? Men or women?

Age-old debate! Stereotypes for sure, but let's throw some oil on the fire here and have a bit of fun (but nobody hurts anyone, this is just for fun!)

Men's point of view:

- We are expected to fight every battle and look like an alpha male
- We are expected to be interesting, be funny, be good at seduction and be skilled at flirting and lovemaking
- Are still bashed on because they don't "do enough" in the household, or don't bring enough cash
- Have to deal with that beard (shave or otherwise) every day
- Have to put up hormones that week of the month......

Men see women as:

- Having it easy, can be a princess and will be attended to by a Prince Charming they choose
- Don't have to fight or have any special skills to get a lover, they just have to be willing
- Can still be stay-at-home spouse even in those days of feminism, if they wish to


Women's point of view

- Did you ever wonder what it's like that week of every month?
- Did you ever have to put up with all those guys hitting on you all the time when you're just having a drink with your best friend?
- Yes you get courted, but usually not the way you'd like or by those whom you'd like!
- Modern women are expected to perform professionally, be good housewives and super-mothers.
- Have to spend absurd amount of money and time on clothes, make-up, preparation to look and smell like he want's you to!
- Have to put up with their smell when they come back from the "shop" or their snorring....

Women see men as:

- Advantaged professionally (they still get a higher pay, on average)
- Free - in the end, they often don't have to do the kids homework or housekeeping because they have a game that night!
- Can be obnoxious, arrogant or rude and get away with it. When women do 1/2 of that, they're labelled "bitch" immediately


Please add to the lists and say whether you're happy of the advantages of your sex or envious of that of the other!

On my side, I live very well as a man, choosing the women I want to court rather than being picked and living my life freely

Women from 17 to 29 have the edge if they have the looks and much more so if there is a great personality to go with it. Come pass 30 she is going to be looked over and possibly ignored. By 35 she is off the radar by many. As for guys from 17 to mid-20s he is going to fail and fall on his face many times over. During his twenties should be the time to test, explore and learn. If he made the right moves and decisions once he hit 30 or late twenties he would be at his best until his late 40s and possibly longer given advancement in medicine and health and nutrition. If he wants to stay in the game for a much longer period and outlast his peers, always keep a fit body and mind. Exercise, eat properly and avoid crap foods. All I can say that if the food was not available in the 1900s it is not going into my system.

If you are are guy in his 30s/40s but looks and performs like he is in his 20s there are much ahead of you. Major plus if you have tons in the bank and no debt and healthy you are going to be a great catch and you will live a life many will be jealous of because you are FREE.

This is the problem for women. They get many men showing interest in them but the men they actually find attractive, not so much.

This is why you will see tons of women settle with the best man they have available now but jump the ship if a man she likes more shows interest in her.


For men, sex is harder but if you have been banging a woman, you have the power. It's much easier for guys to get relationships once the sex is already taking place.

The average woman has an easier time getting sex and finding relationships than the average guy but she often doesn't get to be with the guy she likes the most unless she is pretty.

But the most attractive guys have it easier than the most attractive girls when it comes to getting sex and relationships.

If you are Orlando Bloom, banging random Romanian waitresses is a normal thing and most of these girls will happily get in a relationship with you.

Just my opinion but women have an easier time getting laid ( you can be a three foot tall female with no hair and still get fucked at closing time in a pub, man not so much ), items bought for them, drinks in a pub, people being courteous towards them. Men have it easier in the workplace and long distance peeing.

Very few women are gold diggers. I have certainly never met one. The problem is that all women will have their hand out for free money when a relationship ends. You need to set things up so that there is no free money to be had.

Not all women are like that, and if there are children involved then she shouldn't even have to ask.

It is easier for them to get sex, but harder to find someone for a lasting relationship, especially as they get older and even more for the ones that are overweight or not that great looking.

I am totally with you Sam. Never had a gf that went after my money. When I separated I gave a lot to buy peace. Each day I am happy I did so after all. I just worked harder and a bit of luck on some investment made the rest.

As for girls getting older, overweight and not that great looking well if a girl like that has problem getting sex, imagine men! Great looks is not that important. Being confident in yourself, have a lot of humor and having good healthy habits will do the rest to attract girls.

Most men agree with you. Women don't even need to ask for money. You just give it.

To me, I do not consider it a privilege and duty to pay a woman's bills. In my experience, the more comfortable and secure a woman is in a relationship, the less sex you have and the more demanding she becomes. The solution is to point to the door and, unless you have taken precautions to safeguard your money in the event of a separation, it is very costly to do that.

But that's just me. For most men:

-happy wife, happy life. (there is no equivalent to this for husbands)
-you can either be happy or be right. Choose to be happy.
-if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
