Every circle has their lingo..Its like learning a new sort of language and personally I prefer this..
What are you talking about shame?

Its just short abbreviations that are convenient when communicating and it sure saves a lot of typing ..

Once you become familiar with it you can almost have a conversation just using these abbreviations....

So, if you see a medical doctor, you will insist he doesn`t use words you can`t understand while he`s talking to his collegues and you`re around? If the doc is talking to you, fine, you can ask him to talk in a way you understand but, when he`s talking to somebody else, if you can`t understand and don`t want to learn the terms they`re using, then don`t listen and don`t complain! If you don`t think it`s worth the effort to learn the language, it`s not worth your time to stick around either. Same goes here: we use abbreviation to make things simpler. Everybody know or can easily find what a TC is. It`s far easier to write the abbreviation than it is to whrite the entire thing. There`s nothing about shame there.

The way I see it, YOU are ashamed of being here and, by refusing to accept the lingo, you try to distance yourself from your shame.

Surf this board for a week or so and all those abbreviations will make common sense to you. There is also a thread with all the meanings of these abbreviations. See a couple of escorts and write some reviews and you will see that using abbreviations is easier.

Abbreviations are used everywhere in common life. The reason we are using it here is the same as using abbreviations elsewhere, it is to save time since most of us knows what those abbreviations means.

Abreviations

I can also relate to the need and use of the abreviations here and this board, and it is not particular to MERB in any case, try any board on the hobby and you will find them from TER and Doggiedog in the USA to La Guide Rose in Europe.

Look at any sigth from SPs and agencies and there they are. Otherwise completely uncomprehensible Hong Kong agency sites are understandable when you see the picture and the service line with the abreviations applicable.

Abbreviations allow us all to understand the same thing the same way if possible and make the description of a sesion by a Japanese bussines guy in Thailand understandable to an American in Montreal.

Yet, the abuse of some of them, by people outsise the boards confuse me. I have asked this question in several ocassions to no satisfactory answer, if you use an abreviation with no meaning, then the whole purpose of the abreviation is defeated.

I'm still looking for the meaning of YMMV++
