I recently booked for a pornstar experience and i was a bit surprised by the answer i got from a few girls. It seems that prices are higher then before and I do understand why . I also dont like regular escorts as i enjoy the beauty of indy's and there methode of working... yes they are more pricy but wow hotter .....my question is this why do men always negociate? i did not and i got a real treat ......i dont get it why men negociate on a service,,,, like they do for a car? i dont do that and she showed me messages from guys that only negociate......because men do this they are less open to talk then before they all think we all wanna deal....... are we that cheap in montreal ? and again as a gentelmen i would never nogociate with a girl on anything,,you simply just loose ,,,my two cents

I don't get why guys try to negotiate either..it will just most likely end up with the SP being in a bad mood and not giving her best service.

Yeah I don't get it either. Don't sweat the small numbers. A little generosity is often much appreciated and is often reciprocated. A lady friend tells me about a client who agrees on the price and then gives her a wad of small bills that always winds up $10-$20 short when she gets thru counting it. And he is apparently a rich guy. He is in need of correction IMO.

Simple... They are negotiating to get the best possible price. With the lagging economy and people got much less money to spend compared to 30 years ago. It is a necessary evil. I cannot blame them for trying. Have not anyone notice that there are so many escorts nowadays. Sign of the times.

This is not a man thing, I know plenty of women who like to bargain too. And I know some guys that absolutely hate to do it, they'd rather just walk away when they know they are overcharged for something than haggle for the right price even if they are told they could.

Being rich/poor has nothing to do with it either. These people feel like they won when they can get someone to bring their price down.

Agreed. The last thing I want is a shitty service because I saved $10. On multiple hours the sp themselves have lowered the prices

Bargaining is actually a sure way not to get a meeting...When asked my standard answer is: I only bargain up,you are welcome to offer me more...
If 20$ makes a difference you should reconsider meeting at all,you cannot afford it...

There are ladies of all price range, look for the one that already match your means...

Thank you !!! My answer is similar to this.

I mean if someone needs a 20$ discount on someone's time and intimacy...

I often tell them "Hey if that 20-40-50$ really makes a difference in your budget, buy groceries instead". Sounds rude ? Yeah. "Is that the best you can do ?" or "Can you do 80hh" sounds rude to me too :p

....... are we that cheap in montreal ?

NO WE ARE NOT THAT CHEAP IN MONTREAL.

By generalizing that every Montrealer is cheap (Per you comment above), it would be little insulting
for the NON-CHEAP guys here in Montreal, and there are lots of them...Just my two cents.

A little generosity is often much appreciated and is often reciprocated.

This is actually exactly like bargaining, but in reverse: expecting more because you didn't bargain.
Same mechanism: you're trying to get more out of the situation because you've been smarter. Just like the bargainer will feel good about himself because he got the same service for less.
I agree that your strategy may be more effective in the case of a personal service, whereas bargaining may be more effective when the quality of what you're paying for is not affected by how the seller is feeling, but I don't think either attitude is more ethical or "respectfull" than the other, in both cases you're trying to get the most for the least.
Same for tipping: it's just a way to get more by delaying part of the payment, or to get more next time by manipulating the seller's feelings.

So to me being lavish is not better than being cheap, it's just a different strategy around basic selfishness.

I think once again there is nuances to everything. If prices are well listed for everything, i would say kudos to the escort and there should be no bargaining. When it comes to extras, again some escorts list them fairly well or give you proper pricing by text and its awesome. This is easier obviously with indies as you know right away how much it will cost you.

If you book with an agency, often the booker do not even know (or won't tell cause of the YMMV factor or law factor) what extras may be offered. So for this specifically i think it does have a "free pass" in some cases. It happened to me once that a girl mentioned "no cim no cof" , so i then said "not at all or an extra could make it possible" ? Oups she then changed her mind and said cim could be possible. She mentioned 60$, i said "oh ok, sorry i don't think i have it on me as usually its 40$ in this agency" then boom she immediately said "bah...50 would do it" i said let me check if i have it , and in the end i actually had 50 in my pocket left. So i gave her that fifthy, even tough i could had probably kept dealing it to 40.... If i would had only have the 40$, i would had offered 40 and it would had been give or take... In that case do you still consider it bad to "bargain" ?

In any cases it always depend on ones point of view. I see more agency girls in general so this is rarely a situation for me, but when i will see an indy i would not bargain, especially not if her prices are clear by phone text and ads. Altough i do not consider it "a very bad thing" if some peoples ask... I mean who knows, it can be a quiet week for her and she rather take a booking for 20$ less than not have the booking at all. Peoples negociate in all sorts of jobs sector so why not this one? As long as they don't insist...

And remember here i spoke only of merb ads. Im not even touching the BP/annonce side of thing where girls will give prices, then change services, say they allow msog but then they do not, say they kiss and then won't do it. Whole different world... so if a service is supose to be offered and is not offered anymore on the spot, then i would say the guy should damn well bargain if he want to have it back in the package lol

Haggling over a trivial amount makes guys look desperate.
And stingy!
I am not a rich guy. I like to save up and have a spectacular session instead of a cheap forgettable one.
Go big or go home!

Well that may be the way you think but please do not ascribe your byzantine (google it) motivations to me. Generosity can be reciprocated in many ways. A smile and a happy face can be reward enuf. These ladies work hard doing a job I couldn't do. Lets be on their side a little. Most SPs I know are repeats for me. That's because the basic services are just part of the equation. Liking them on a personal level, as people, is important to me. Whether they are family members, business associates or SPs I am inclined to be generous, with my time and/or with my resources where appropriate, with people that I like. When you are nice to people it is often the case that they voluntarily reciprocate in some way and appreciate your gesture. Doesn't mean that I have some nefarious scheme in mind.

I think the escorts have to be realistic and understand about the lagging economy. Men do not got stacks of money four feet long. The amount of people with money to waste are few... Most are average joes with plenty of bills to pay. Bargaining comes with the territory. No need to be complaining about it. Simply politely decline this client in same regards there are escorts trying to get extra cash by unethical means. Take a look around you there are so many escorts and masseuses. There is not enough clients and money to fulfill the needs of all those escorts. I created an account on Seeking Arrangements and I was shocked to see so many girls that I know. There is literally a four to one ratio of sugar babies to sugar daddies. This is clearly a sign of the times. I once contacted a girl on Backpage she wanted $250/hr. I told her no way. She then asked me what is the max I will pay. I said $200/hr and I want DFK, BBBJ, and DATY. She said only LFK and CBJ and DATY was accepted. First of all the her photos were fake and I doubt I would get a good service. So in my book even $200/hr was not worth it max $150. However Adriana With Love considering her beauty and her service based on her reviews $250/hr is well worth it and I would definitely spend that on her. So it is all relative. All I got to say is do what you got to do. Me personally if prices are clearly listed I will not bargain but if it does not fit with my criteria I will look elsewhere.

It is not about cheap... Montrealers are blessed with a high supply to demand. Take a look around the prices of almost everything is cheaper. Housing, car insurance, and including sexual services. The more supply there is the lower the prices. This is why so many escorts from Montreal go to places like Alberta where the demand outweigh the supply.

I never bargain when the fee is clearly posted. However, many SP ads don't include a price at all which seems to me to imply that bargaining is expected.

It's not only clients who bargain.

Sometimes I call an agency and discover the woman I wished to see is not available. When I tell them I'll call another evening, I've sometimes been offered a lower price if I choose someone else. There are lots of stories here of SPs who promise certain services for a certain amount and then ask for more when the time comes to provide them.

Not every Montrealer or man is cheap but if you are an escort you would know the amount of men who haggle exceeds the amount of men who are generous.
I have had some clients tip me twice my rate and I also receive messages from guys who want to pay me half my rate.

I think you confuse being rich and not caring to being generous. If i won the loto last night, you can be sure the first thing i would do after cashing in would be to get in mtl and have myself a 2 or 3 weeks of pleasure time. Would i care about prices? Of course not lol :p I would give huge tips if i like one SP that much and make sure to tell her i want to make her a regular. I would offer VERY GENEROUS tips for extras as well ... But sadly this ain't reality for me... Im just a normal average joe who has just enough money to see SPs here and there and apreciate the moment. I cherish every moments and im more than thankfull to all the women i see who make sure i have the best moment possible. But giving double times what is expected is not something i can do, no matter how aweosme that moment may have been.

I just hope you see the difference there. Again i stand by what i said before, if prices are clear and listed, i would never try to bargain or haggle as you say. But please... do not confuse generosity with financial abilities.

That is an extremely negative viewpoint, and the logic to justify it is very twisted.

Look behind you.
Quite a few have asked if I am going to tip before the session starts. When they do the session is canceled.

Never heard that one before, the session would be ruined and I would exit also.
