She may be deported, but she will make a bundle on movie options. She may also sue DSK in a civil suit that he my settle with a cash amount but not admit guilt. Just to make it go away.

No, she's going to get some jail time and then get deported back to Africa. She won't gain a cent from this. In fact, the stupid woman will lose everything in her $100,000 bank account.

Jail time for what? Even if she could not prove her accusation, she will not get jail time.

She lied to a grand jury and has admitted to lying to LE. She lied to police. She is being investigated for money laundering. She will get jail time. If it is proved that she conspired to extort DSK, it will even worse for her. There is no way she will escape a jail sentence if she is proven guilty. The odds are she will be found guilty of a few crimes.

Too bad Penthouse is no longer around, she would have gotten a million dollars to do nude pics.

Highly doubtful. If a prostitute has to work as a maid to get johns, she can't be that good looking, otherwise she'd go work for a real escort agency and not have to solicit, as opposed to be chosen by the hobbyists.

I hope she does go to prison before being deported back to Africa; actually, conditions in Africa are likely a hundred times worse than any jail or prison in the US, especially those that house female convicts. Hell, just deport the b@tch! Let's hope this sorry ass saga deters other prostitutes and escorts from engaging in lying to the LE, grand jury, the public and seeking to blackmail (an accidental) john -- evidently, she forced herself upon him and would not leave the room even though DSK continued to refuse to pay her for the BJ.

Even getting prison time and deported, she can get rich from movie rights.

Movie rights? How does she have any rights from any part of this?

1. Most states have laws that prisoners cannot write books to profit from their crimes, if they are convicted of a felony.
2. She is just a player in this. This was news. Anyone can do produce a movie without paying the actual players involved, including DSK, as long as the movie does not include slanderous untrue parts.
3. I don't think anyone would make a movie out of this. It's news material, but not movie material. Just my opinion.

Great points DD41.

Oprah might be interested in her life's story but this prostitute has proved to be a pathological liar and her life's story has absolutely no commercial value. She'd probably blackmail anyone who does business with her. Oprah needs materials for her lame OWN!

I would think if her story was told it would start at the point years earlier when she was not in the USA. It would be all about her previous life, what happend when she arrived in America, her previous endeavors, the DSK incident and the after effects of the incident. You can not just write in details that did not happen and then call it her story.

In fact I believe New York was the first state to enact such a law, to stop David Berkowitz aka "Son of Sam" from profiting from books/movies about his story. This law was enacted back in the 1970s I believe.

To the extent the maid is not deported and remains in New York, and to the extent she herself may be charged with criminal conduct (which is yet to be determined), she will not make one cent. If she is not charged with anything, then she will be free to sell her story to whomever wants to publish it in media, news, book or movie format.

However, I am not sure her story will be considered reliable enough to be worthy of being paid for, even if she escapes criminal prosecution. In addition, she could also be threatened with lawsuits seeking injunctions and equitable relief by DSK, who can pound her into the fucking ground with legal fees in order to stop her. Do you guys think DSK does not have the money to pound her into submission? He is dropping $50K per month on his NYC pad, he can certainly retain any lawyer for $1000 per hour to write threatening cease and desist letters. Where is the money going to come from to combat this? She will run out of money defending injunctions.

I am sure DSK has already consulted attorneys on these issues. If he wants to stop her, he will, easily.

I doubt she will ever make a penny on this story. Her main focus now should be trying to keep the IRS away from the money she still has.

If she is arrested for money laundering, that bank account will be seized. I don't think the Feds or NYPD will let this woman off easy.

Very often these days, terrorist are involved in money laundering. This is serious shit.

Maybe Homeland Security and the DEA have already started probing this aspect of the case. Maybe her drug-dealer boyfriend and she are helping militants in their own country or terrorists in Yeman, etc.
