I am with.

There is too much misinformation or conspiracy theory.
The last one made me laugh, a young man on TV said "the mask stops the entry of oxygen" I worked several hours a day with a mask and for several years, and I never lacked oxygen.

I won’t say that masks are comfortable especially not in this heat wave that we are having.
I will however wear one at all times inside any public place and outside also if I can’t maintain the required social distancing, it is really the least you can do to respect and safeguard others as well as yourself.
For the limited amount of times you need to wear one it is total nonsense that it is harmful which has been discussed many times by health professionals recently.

Seeing an SP no it defeats the purpose entirely. If I decide to see one then I will take the risk and enjoy all the pleasures that I have done before as I don’t believe trying to limit things with her would diminish the risk at all
You either weigh the risk and go for it or stay at home.

I totally agree with you.
For Montreal, 100% yes. It will be compulsory from July 27 wherever the two meters will not be possible.
For the regions it is another thing.

Was at apple store yesterday. A client was bitching because they force you to wear one
Seriously this needs to be imposed on stupid people

With an SP, there is no point in wearing a mask.

In public spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained (ie. not just passing someone on a non-busy street)... I always wear a mask. It's not that big a deal.

It really tells you a lot about someone who at this point in time... still doesn't wear a mask in such situations.

What about restaurants? How will that work? One cannot eat out at a restaurant wearing a mask? And what will happen with bars and clubs? Mandatory masks? Entertainment will be dead in the conventional sense. What about gyms? How can you work out wearing a mask?

Bars probably the most dangerous especially due to the fact that people lose all sense of precaution after a couple of drinks and most bars are loud so if you want to be heard you will be talking or yelling louder and thereby expelling way more droplets than usual.
Gyms you could probably wear a mask but it would make it awfully uncomfortable so most won’t.
Restaurants well self explanatory hard to put food in your mouth if covered with a mask.

I don’t have to worry about bars as I haven’t been to one in years.
Gym I am paying for ( just took first payment off my card after reopening lol) but I will not go, can go for a walk or run during this nice weather or use tread mill in the basement and swim in my children’s pool.
Restaurant maybe but only on an outside terrace, for now I have been doing a lot of BBQ at home.

dude i went 3 times to the apple store to get my airpods, the lineup was huge, i waited about 30min, i still couldnt see the beginning of the line. the last time i went, i was 2/3 of the way through the line and then it started raining. fuck... life without my airpods is pretty shitty.

bars/clubs they check-in regularly to see if you are wearing your mask. its just looks stupid to have to take off your mask every time you want a sip

Again I agree with Fradi.

I play golf, and I leave immediately afterwards, without going through the Club House.
I will never go to bars, it's too dangerous, even outside on the terrace.
Public transport yes 100%, and now.
I went this weekend to a restaurant, without a mask, but all the rules without any exceptions were respected.

When the two meters are respected, there will be no problem.

Couldn't you order these online instead? I don't go to any stores, unless I have to. In this day and age, ordering online is the way to go (especially in light of the pandemic).

The problem is I think some stores are using this covid-19 as an opportunity to provide bad service. I ordered two shirts from Gap one got delivered after 3 weeks and the other one is still stuck. It has been a month and still no movement. I understand there will be delays but this is absurd. Ordering online is risky depending where you order it from. I ordered a new PC off NewEgg and got it in a week.

It's also dependent on Canada Post, UPS, etc. Because of the pandemic, the amount of online purchases has increased significantly.

Also certain businesses (ie. Amazon) prioritize essentials being shipped before normal items. So you could face delays because of that as well.

you are definitely right, however actually I am only missing the case for my airpods, which I cannot seem to be able to find online without being up-charged.

having working airpods is very critical to my livelihood, im wiling to risk it for them. yeah i know its a 1st world problem

I now check and anything coming from China I automatically discard. I ordered a couple of things on Amazon( masks alcohol wipes) that were being shipped out of China it has been 2 months and none have arrived.
Yes, I was reimbursed, but it is just a waste of time.
One company actually told me that I am lucky to be ordering from them because they have the best price in the world.
I asked him if he was a comedian and maybe he can explain how not receiving anything makes sense and how it becomes such a bargain.

If I buy off Ebay or Amazones I never order anything coming from China and this applied pre covid-19. They are scammers and you got no idea if you will get a fake, defective item, or just cheap quality. Plus with all that customs and duties it is really not worth it. I always buy from Canada or US.

Didn’t read any posts in this thread, it’s a no brainer for me and doubt I’ll change my mind. Other than reminiscing about an awesome U2 song don’t see purpose of debate

Subjugation is the goal, not to protect. Sheep get slaughtered ... learn to think and research for yourselves ... do you wear your little masks in the car? With the windows up or down does it matter? Do yo wear it at home and while you sleep? Perhaps you should if you want the sky not to fall on you!

Wearing a mask when you are close to someone's face reduces risk of infection. That is a proven fact !

OnJustALark, does your post want to make us laugh?

Do you mean that you are against wearing a mask?

If you invite 100 friends to a BBQ that you will serve steaks, ribs and hamburgers and only 2.5 are vegan or vegetarian do you change the menu for those individuals or ask them to bring their own tofu burgers or whatever vegetarians or vegans eat or just tell them not to come?

If you invite 100 friends to a BBQ that you will be serving alcoholic beverages and 2.5 are recovering alcoholics do you make it a no alcohol BBQ, cancel the BBQ or just don't invite them?

Those are the statistics 2.5% are at risk in Quebec from having complications from COVID-19 1.5% due to their own abuse 1% due to genetics.

Again the 2.5% stay at home or wear masks and do not make 97.5% of the population wear masks.

I'm not wearing a mask and eating steaks, ribs, burgers and drinking period.

This is more and more becoming a collective hysteria that makes me suddenly want to go buy some toilet paper and destroy 5G towers.

It so sweet that there is so much consideration and regards towards the 1.5% that don't even love themselves. It's politically correct - good thinking - la bonne pensante. Let me remind you that it was of good thinking and of high social standing to have slaves. The more you had, the higher social standing you had. I can come out with a dozen other good thinking examples that are completely ridiculous as this one.

A bit of common sense...
