For those who have been hobbying…does mask stay on during the session?

Sounds like vaccinated can be carriers for delta variant. Don’t need to bring it home and go thru contact tracing.
Yes for sure ain’t nothing like a good DFK with the mask on!

It doesn't sound like... Knowledge of this delta variant improved a lot since a few month, since most of new cases are from delta in USA.
Vaccinated people ARE carriers for delta variant although they are mostly protected from severe disease and death. Some may pretend they got it at the grocery but it doesn't change a iota the risk to get it and transmit it to someone being very sick from it.

To me it is irresponsible even thinking that you may bring the infection home and have to create a fake venue where you may have gotten it..There isn't much risk getting it from the grocery store in the first place.. They've been open since the beginning and no significant infections to customers. Customers are hardly near anyone for long enough to get infected from what i've seen. The most at risk in grocery stores are the employees. I would rather not hobby than risk bringing it to my family, because I would know where i got it and that would make me feel like shit.

I started the hobby again at the end of June 2120.

I was just outcalling, showering before, faces as far as possible, and we kissed only after I got my shot.

I am so happy to live alone, I don't have to think that I could infect the people I love.

I never stopped hobbying, never wear a mask for meeting but I put it on to walk in the building because I dont want to make anyone feel uneasy or paranoïd on my way to the condo. Also not to bring unnecessary attention to the place.

As for bringing the virus home, its not an issue for me, no wife or gf in my life, just a roommate and since she works in the sex industry(international), she's home a few months a year. We both are conscious of the risks involved and decided we could live with it. The only thing is I have to make sure to be 7 days without hobbying and get a test before visiting my mom, no big deal.

The Slipknot star and his heavy metal bandmates are known for their ghoulish masks, which they wear throughout their concerts, and the singer argued last year that if he could cover his face fully for a two-hour show, anyone could wear a mask for “five minutes in a grocery store”

The band were forced to reschedule several of their concerts due to the health crisis last year, but Corey Taylor will be back soon for the second part of his US tour, and on this occasion he repeated his comments on the wearing a mask.

“People act like getting the vaccine is like making a deal with the devil,” he told Heavy Consequence. It's really politicized and it's gotten out of hand in these conspiratorial echo chambers that people forget that you can find all the information you want online to educate yourself about these vaccines.

The point is (vaccines) have been demonized (because of) these conspiracy theories, no wonder people are afraid of them, because they listen to the wrong people"

What do politicians have to gain?

Create an outtside threat to offer protection against it, secure you're reelection as the general citizen who only watch the medias on TV will think you do a great job. Now don't get me wrong, i am not saying they created Covid, im saying they so overly exagerated them and keep this "state of emergency" that the little lady who watch The Bold and the Beautifull every afternoon still fear it and think she need protection against it.

Then of course this vaccinal passeport thing. Its almost a certain thing that it will be implented now, and since Quebec been the perfect docile little sheeps so far, i don't see as much protest like what happened in other countries. So soon to go almost anywhere and do anything, you will need to leave your numerical fingerprint... don't you think its weird? Even if i had no problem with the vaccine itself, i wouldn't be for this concept at all. Yes i am aware you do it when you pay with a card and yes there is camera in a lot of places, and yes phones could be trackers etc etc. But carrying your phone is a choice, you can simply buy a burner phone too, cameras hardly are monitored 24/7, they are there for security and theft prevention, and paying with a card is also a choice. I know this may sound a bit conspiracy and i really dislike going into these territories, but i am just not an easy with having to bring a numerical ID/passeport everywhere. This remind me of the sci fy movies where peoples only pay with a chip in their hand kinda thing. I love cash, i want cash to remain a way of paying, i want to go to places without having the governement know about it, even if its just for a matter of publicities and studies of habbits and nothing malicious.

1) Pretty sure he has air holes in his mask
2) Its a choice they made, nobody ever forced them to wear them
3) Not everyone react the same to everything, some peoples can go in high places (like Hydro-Quebec workers) while others get nauseous in a ladder...
4) Its just not 5 minutes at the grocery, its also kids in schools all day, workers all day, longue distance travels in bus etc. Yes its an annoyance to put it at the store for a 5 min beer buy but thats not the biggest issue obviously.

HM. You are into propaganda and it shows
Has nothing to do with being a sheep. That is an insult
I believe in the science. Call me a sheep. But there are people a lot smarter than me working at fixing this.
as for the securing reelection. Well Trudeau handled this like shit! I didint vote for him the first time. Certainly won’t the next time.
Trump lost.
Legault handled this like he handled a business. Nothing to do with keeping people inline. He wants to keep business open and people safe. And the proof is in the stats. He handled it better than Ford.

stop with the fake news

The propaganda is in the media by TVA, Legault and his crew.
Sheeps are the middle mindlessly following everything they say and never looking the other side of the coin
I am personally not into propaganda, like i am not into "conspiracy" either. I believe in numbers, facts, reality. The reality is the world has gone banana for a virus with under 0.1% death rate. Imagine if we one day get hit by a virus with just 10% death rate regardless of age. Man i don't want to see that.

Legault is handling it super badly. If he threat it like business, well the business owners are pretty angry right now of having been closed so long. The governement should never ut his nose in private business telling them when they can open or not, and ESPECIALLY not in private houses.

Yet the anti-vaxxer, conspiracy theorists are doing their part in paving a way for a variant that may just one day do that !!

You've soon some pretty good progress in one year, keep up the good work.

Not sure which stats you are referring to. Quebec had a MUCH higher death per capita.
While Ontario had worst third wave, Quebec had a much more restrictive and deadly second wave.

That is due to poor management of our hospitals in the past. We’re a huge ship that takes time to turn. But third wave and employment numbers and overall % of vaccinated people is better here than ontario

We're debating who screwed up more here since both screwed up in their unique ways

Vaccination. According to the fed site Quebec 72.7% Ontario 71.6%, for at least one dose. Ontario 61.34 vs Quebec 58.5% fully vaccinated. I'd say it's pretty close with a slight edge to Ontario. In the case of a Delta wave, the double vaccination wave takes the edge.

Poor management of hospitals and CHSLD was the reason for the first wave which Quebec was behind. Second wave was mismanagement which Quebec was responsible. Third wave was mismanagement which Ford was responsible for. Pick a winner (loser) :)

Again it's pretty close. Legault gets many more points for patting himself on the back.

Yes Gaby, I am like you.

I remember my classes at the University, and 3 hours with a mask is not easy.

I would rather stay at home.

And it would be safer.

A school district in Texas has found a clever loophole to impose mask mandates without much fear of legal retribution from the state. The district has the sole authority to mandate the dress code for their students and faculty, so they just updated the dress code to include face coverings. This brilliant legal maneuver could prevent the state from punishing the district.

I'm glad someone is countering Abbottt's stupid mask mandate bans.

That's definitely going 2 p/tick off Abbott in every/the best possible way imaginable.

If schools can enforce the length of a girl’s skirt to fit their dress code, they can enforce a mandatory mask for all students. This is a clever use of existing policy.

The minute you said the school found a clever way around the ban,I knew what was coming next.

Great job to this school.
