A 57-year-old conspirator preferred to spend a night in jail this week rather than wearing a mask for a few hours at the Municipal Court of Montreal.

Pascal Antonin, an anti-mask from Rivière-Rouge known as “Zurlu” on social networks, gave a sad spectacle to his Facebook followers on Thursday.

He filmed himself without a face covering as he appeared in Montreal Municipal Court on mischief charges.

From the start of the video, several agents ask him to wear the mask in the building. The conspirator, however, refuses to cover his face repeatedly.

Masks outdoors in Rome shopping areas over Christmas as government debates nationwide measures.

Rome is the latest Italian city to bring in the obligation to wear masks outdoors in a bid to reduce the risk of covid infections among the crowds of people shopping during the Christmas season.

The news was announced on Wednesday night by Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri who described masks as "a fundamental tool for the prevention of infections" and urged all Romans to get vaccinated.

Stubborn anti-masker drives employee to the brink of madness.

I am so tired of these people. Beyond exhausted with them. I know by law the employee cannot put his hands on her to escort her out, but I wish all businesses had a security guard who could.
She shouldn't have the ability to remain inside, speaking without a mask and potentially putting others at risk, until she decides to leave or the police are called.

Around the corner
It is a personal choice, I for one think that there is a reason doctors, nurses wear a mask in the operating room and in all contagious situations.
As long as Covid is amongst us and there are still a couple of thousand people being infected and an average of 10-12 a day dying, yes I will continue to wear a mask. I don’t find it such a big deal to have it on for the 15 minutes that I am inside a building for shopping or anything else.

Here in Québec it's not STILL a personal choice....you have to wear masks in closed places until at least mid APRIL-15th.....after most likely personal choice....BUT not decided yet.

Here in MONTRÉAL dowtown i still see many peoples---young and old--wearing masks when just walking around....i think it's a habit many will keep.....will b one of them.

I hated wearing the damn thing for 2 years straight
I don't know anyone who likes to wear the mask.

Personally, I wore it for several years, because I worked in cell culture.

When you receive a salary, it goes more easily.

Today I don't wear it for the money, but to stay healthy, and in public places I will continue to wear it.

I hear you man, I'm just sick of the restrictions.
I certainly dont wanna wear a mask for the rest of my life.

As of right now Omicron has about the same death/hospitalization rate of the regular flu.

So if we werent wearing masks during our regular flu seasons, then why do we keep wearing them during current Covid pandemic???

Because the government made it all about politics. They got a hidden agenda.

Part of respect is to let others live their life the way they want to and to mind your own business.

If you're wearing the cotton mask that goes around the ears, then I totally get it. Those SUCK so bad.

Around in Aug 2020, I upgraded to the surgical type masks. Super improvement - light, breathable, plus nose fit was excellent.

Then a few months ago, I tried on the 3M N95s model 9210. Holy crap. They are truly the Rolls Royce of masks. Again, so breathable and light, but the design is superior. The elastic goes around the head, so no irritation on the ears. The mask wraps around your cheeks, so there's no extra gap. Then there are 2 separate flaps that snug up against the chin and nose so even when you yawn, the mask stays in place. Amazing.
