We are 5 years after Russia shut down a plane (also by mistake) over Ukraine and these ass hole mother fucker of Poutine's regime still never admitted anything...

Well, strictly speaking, it was not Russia itself that shot down that plane, but one of the separatist militias of Russian thugs allied with Russia. Which is not to excuse Putin, of course, who supplied the missile.

Probably a better analogy would be the incident where Ukraine shot down a Russian plane over the Black Sea in 2001. They were also trying to deny it for a while before admitting their responsibility.

Unlike Ukraine shooting down a Russian plane over the Black Sea or Russia shooting down the Malaysian plane over Ukraine, we are talking about Iranians shooting down an Iranian plane in Iran- their own airspace, which they are supposed to be controlling. These other incidents of planes shot down over another country's airspace have no bearing on this discussion.

Jalimon- very fundamental concept here- each country controls the airspace over its land. It is sovereign. Do you understand this, and that there is not a United Nations of airspace at work here? The UN/Canada is not telling Iran how it should be controlling its own airspace.

Not so. Ukraine was conducting military exercises and the plane was brought down over its airspace. Or rather what was then their airspace -- before Putin's Anschluss of Crimea.

I know that EB. Why was the airspace not shut down is the big question. Sorry I do not know why. The army Iranian guy that fired the missile is now probably in disbelief it was not shut down... And he is most probably a total wreck right now having killed hundreds of his peers...

But then he got a bunch of infidels as well, so maybe one balances the other in his view.

He will only get half as many virgins, he will forever be a have not amongst his peers once he gets to meet his maker.
I doubt these kind of guys have a conscience to begin with.

Trump Warns Iran on Protesters

https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/11/politics/trump-support-iran-protesters/index.html

"To the leaders of Iran - DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS. Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the World is watching," Trump wrote. "More importantly, the USA is watching. Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!"

The tweet comes hours after the President voiced his administration's support for the protesters, writing on Twitter that he has "stood" with them since he took office nearly three years ago.
"(A)nd my Administration will continue to stand with you. We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage," he tweeted in both English and Farsi.

In a separate tweet on Saturday, Trump wrote that Iran's government "must allow human rights groups to monitor and report facts from the ground on the ongoing protests by the Iranian people."
"There can not be another massacre of peaceful protesters, nor an internet shutdown. The world is watching," Trump wrote.

Trump apparently believes that from now on the ayatollah reports directly to him. It remains to be seen if the ayatollah agrees to play along.
