Hello my neighbors,

There is just a huge crash in the US stock market.

I think I will have to move to Montreal to live after the crash.

Canada market seems to be safer now.

What crash? there is a 3% drop.... and the world markets are related so if there was a crash things would be no better in Canada, in fact may be worse as Canada exports so much to the US.

As for wars being good for the economy, where did you get that drivel, fortune cookie?

If only I knew...
Fortune cookies would be better to run some countries than some leaders these days...

War being good for economy is an old saying originating from the "in between" depression of the first and second world war. After the second war, the economy just boomed.
At each conflicts the US have been involved in the last 40 years or so, US contractors close to the White House elected representatives made a fortune. That's good for THEIR economy! Who said the government gave a damn about yours? :) :D

This "crash" was caused by a 9% drop in the Shanghai composite index in China. Considering it went up over 150% in the past 20 months, that correction isn't surprising. And I doubt it's over. Woudn't be surprised if it dropped 20%. News of a slowing down of the US economy didn't help either.

Does this mean that prices will deflate in the HDL market?:D

Just a Correction

Todays market fall is a long awaited correction so it should continue for a couple of days and then rebound for more gains.
We are in a bull market and this will last a few years. Wait and see.
