Another crackhead who dies way before her time........not totally unexpected. I read yesterday that she got into a heated arguement with one of the runner-ups of the show X Factor the other day, soon after they sang a duet in honor of a fellow black singer who had recently passed away.

Never understood how those who seem to have everything end up so self-destructive.

Is Charlie Sheen sober enough to learn anything from this?

    Sigh,

I totally agree with you. She indeed was one of the greatest black female singers of all time. Hooking up with Bobby Brown was disastrous to her....she should have stayed with Kevin Costner. He would have kept her clean.

At the point in her career around the bodyguard movie, according to an interview with a coke dealer.. Her daily habit was an ounce of blow. Thats 28 grams, or 140 'quarter' bags.
And then she learned how to cook ...and the music stopped.
What a voice though. She could have been up there with celine, and mariah in terms of diva-ness

My bad: those numbers are cut in half, its been a while since i seen the video

Well the dealer in the interview said he was buying 14 grams of the highest quality, 70%..
and adding 14 grams of cut.
But wherever there is an ounce of blow, there is a bunch of leaches.
So for sure she wasnt consuming that much..
The sad part is that with her history of drug abuse, that will always overshadow her talent

    My numbers were slightly off..

Im pretty sure he took the stash, and gtfo there.
My bets that her death was directly, or indirectly due to dope!

There are plenty of self-destructive people who have nothing. There are also plenty of artist who thrive on bad habits.
