Why I have stopped working with agencies

Personally I've never liked working in agencies, sure it is quite easy because you don't have to invest on hotels, ads and shootings. They will take care of eveything for you. All you got to do is be pretty and reliable.

What I didn't like about my experience was the competition between girls, the pressure from the agency owners, the fact that you don't get to decide who you will see and what services you want to offer. You also have to give a huge part of your income to the owner and that truly hurts, some agencies can ask for up to 50% of your donations.

I believe it's a very good jump in the industry but I am overall very glad I've decided to go the independent route. If you have any questions as usual my inbox remains open and I will also respond here as well

What sort of competion between the ladies occurs? How is it any different than the competition you would face as an indepedant? I know within the strip clubs they can have a rather ruthless atmosphere, but being bundled in close quarters and proximity tend to exasperate any misgivings for all human beings.

If you are working for an outcall only agency, it might be difficult to see another girl do better than you. Imagine spending 5 hours in a call and not being busy at all. Sometimes ladies will start talking behind your back etc.

I remember my all time ATF (sadly retired) told me when she started out at an outcall agency after 2 weeks she bought her own car as she did not mingle well at all with the other girl. She was such a sweetie but hey she had one hell of a temper as well haha

All good agency advertising here ask from 25 to 30% from what I heard. 50% is surely excessive!

Lastly it's too bad I am out for a few weeks as I would have seen you Kyla. Black girl and me usually do quite well

Exactly, you are often forced to ride with girls that you don't appreciate. If you have the luxury of using your own car it's good but then you wouldn't have anyone to help you if you need back up.

Personally i will admit i like to deal with agencies a lot. I also deal with indies but i would say most of my bookings are with agencies. Its too bad my post was erased because the person who made the thread erased the entire thread, but i had a pretty lenghty post on why i enjoy dealing with agencies and why they often does not get the credit they deserve.

But in a nutshell i got to admit i apreciate the simplicity of agencies. Most owners knows me by now and know i am reliable and easy to deal with. I try to usually get in contact with the owner first about seeing a specific girl and to be sure we would match well. Know also if she is reliable on her side as i come from out of town. The new generation of agency owners are honest and i enjoy dealing with them.

50% of a cut is indeed way too much, most agencies usually will take 30% max. In a 220$ booking i know usually girls retain 160 or more, and the rest is to the agency and driver. I know on the spot it may "suck" to have the impression to have your due earned money taken from you, but as you say in your message, you don't have to pay for ads, transportation, and once you built your reputation as a great provider in an agency, you are always fully booked.

I hope this will not sound controversial but ill admit i apreciate the agency pricing as well (I know your hourly rate is very close to agency, im talking in general)

I will also admit that when dealing with an indy i apreciate when its simple. We get in contact, i ask a few questions, they get answered and then we set on a day and time. I don't like when there is "requirements" like references, full name, 4 star hotel minimum (or incall only) or even a deeper screening/deposit ask. I come to Montreal to have a good time, to relax, its my "vacations" if i can say (i don't travel) so i don't want to have additional unwanted stress. I have my usual hotels (one in specific i prefer but if i don't reserve well in advance its often fully booked lol) and i keep walking into MTL at a minimum.

But this is me and i know we are all different and some peoples are locals etc.

If being indy suit you better Kyla, its awesome. I am glad all goes well for you. Some other SP like the conveniance of an agency just like i do as a client. And its ok as well.

I wish there wouldn't be "hard feeling" between the girls, but sadly life is like that :/

In any case gonna wrap this up repeating myself but yeah i sometimes book indies as well and more often than not it goes well. Last time i had a booking set with an indy i was in the car for Montreal and i got canceled, i know the excuse given was a lie (for a fact) so it kinda gave me a cold shower... If for some reason she didn't wanted to see me i wish she would had tell me right away. But otherwise i had great booking with indies as well.

So im glad there is both ways in the business. Everybody is happy.

its interesting reading some of the things that your saying. I’ve heard stories about how pretty much all the agencies, @ least the major ones, are pretty responsive to their providers. If a girl tells a booker she doesn’t want to see a particular client again they are pretty respectful of that.

I will admit for me GFE is a bare minimum. Its "expected". I do all i can to put the provider at ease with it. With a long shower to make sure im super clean, use mouthwash, stuff like that. Trim as much as i am able between my legs. Friendly attitude etc. But i don't want it to be a "ymmv" factor. But thats me, i also tend to go more with providers who offer cim/cof as well. Those i know can be ymmv, so if it does not happen then well... nothing i can do, but at least im sure GFE will be. I will admit im so used to GFE being "standard" that i wouldn't even think to ask for it. I presume if its not offering it will be specified.

I would not blame the agency for this but the majority of clients of Montreal. What most client want is young spinner so they mostly accept girl that fit that profile.

If the majority of client were like me, pat98 or Gaby it would be like the New Zealand rugby club's name... All Blacks haha

Yes the major ones, the reputables ones but sadly those are the agencies that won't take you if you are black, BBW or a certain age. Which means all we have left are the not so great agencies.

One good agency offered me a chance, salary was good and the owner was very sweet and caring. However, the other girls weren't that nice and since I don't own a vehicle... *shrugs*
