I started The Cleaning Lady Season 3...

Didn't understand why one of the main cast was sidelined... turned ou the actor passed away ... Yikes i feel so bad. Didn't earned about it before. I just watched the episode and was like "what a weird way to start the season" then saw the "in memory" ... Man...

Can the show go on without him? Apparently they are on Season 4 in english so i guess yes (i watch in french) but he was such a central part of the show ... i watched one more episode after and it just feel...weird. Ill keep watching S3 but i think they should had recast the character...

Did you guys watched the full trailer for Cobra Kai Season 5? Im pumped !
What do you think of Martin Kove biting his co star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a Netflix fan event? Does he bite her on the show as well? Were u at this event and did you observe this biting incident?
Here is some video of the aftermath of the incident:
Mike -judging from that video I got some very bad news, these two cannot work together and the show will have to be cancelled.

Well the show concluded a while ago. Apparently this happened recently unless its just publicly came out? But i saw it pass maybe a week or 2 ago. The show wrapped up many months ago. If i recall correctly the last part of Season 6 was in Febuary. So this won't affect the show at all.

And no i was not at that event lol, it was likely in the US ...

Now for the incident itself... At first in the video i tought she was way overeacting but apparently its because he was mad at her for telling him to not do that (that part is not on camera). Now the incident itself is confusing ... the whole biting thing is VERY weird not gonna say otherwise, but doing pranks or such on peoples you close to is not uncommon. Maybe he tought he was closer with her than he tought, unless its just because she's mad, but she says they just colleagues while he seem to tought they were friends. I would be curious to see the biting itself to know in what context did it came. But can't deny that its very weird. Even if im a guy and i had a female friend that would do this even as a joke like we talking vampire movies or whatever, i would find it weird ... So she was right to tell him not to do that. He should had just apologies and stop it there. From my understanding it would had been the end of it as it should had been.

One thing for sure, especially these days, if you are "known" like a celebrity or even a semi-celebrity, you have to walk on eggs, especially everything that concern women. Personally i would be very very careful in everything. Cause even if there is no malicious intentions, sometimes it can have bad consequences. The reality is he could had simply hugged her (lets say coming from behind for a surprise hug) and even that could had lead to some backlash today. So you never too careful. Thats why guys like Keanu Reeves don't even touch fans when they take photos with him.

It cannot be a PR stunt if the show wrapped. In any event I didn't interpret this as a PR stunt being acted out and it would make no sense for Kove to have agreed to severely damage his own reputation like this.

What is funny is she calls him an 80 year old man and Kove is actually 78. That was cutting, although in the context of him biting her, very appropriate.

I never said i tought it was a PR stunt...
HM,

Can you imagine what would have happened if you had similarly bitten an SP at one of Iggy's parties? Apart from Iggy banning you from future parties apology or not?
Its really not my style at all so no can't really imagine. But with friends i did do some pranks in the past and i been on the receiving end of them too. Once at a camp fire my cousin kicked the legs of my plastic chair to see me fall (we were both drunk and in our 20s then). Another of my cousin actually used my cell while i was in the store (he waited in the car for me) to text my female roomate at the time something lets say slightly "unapropriate". I was lucky he made a typo and it look less weird because of it. But still i had to explained to her it was him and he was trying to laugh at my expense.

Even recently i sent one of those jump scare prank from facebook to a friend and he was MAAAADDD like so mad, i didn't knew he was so "receptive" to them. Was first time i sent him one. Now i know to not do it again. Sometimes you need to learn about some things...

I am still trying to process why Martin Kove bit Alicia Hannah-Kim, and why she declined to press charges, despite her apparent anger in that video and her mocking of Kove's explanation that it was a "playful" bite. My conclusion is that this is part of the flighty, free spirited behavior that is inherent in and indigenous to the acting profession. They ate flakes and have different standards of behavior. That's how I explain it.
