I wonder why so many people are wearing sneakers on the sidewalks in Montreal, even in -20 C weather. Is looking cool more important that keeping your feet warm? Do they not have enough money to buy boots? Probably one or both depending on the person.

I remember, in the ‘80s, a Russian man, probably working for the consulate, doing his 5:00 am jogging downtown in shorts and t-shirt, even at -30 degrees! Every single day.

What I did is equal for you to go to China and do the same in chinese. Can you? Please continue with your sense of humor, continue to not care what is really happening outside your small cercle. I googled to understand it. You can continue to not care. This is the reason why this lovely country is in that condition. Its really very difficult to find here in this forum someone who knows how to read. My comment was related to a comment above treating the quality of services and the incomprehensible language in the governmental institutions. Do you know why this is happening? Because your lovely government has quotas for immigrants that must to be filled on every price. Do you know that your lovely government pays to some people to teach other people / companies how to create and to keep a diversity in their offices ? Do you know how easy is to become a legal immigrant from illegal immigrant, much easier than a legal immigration. Do you know that there are thousands of immigrants that receive money on hand every Monday, only because they are still in Canada? I am an immigrant, my passport opens a lot more doors than yours, and I care much more than you? Please continue to not care, you will still have Macdo with fries.
