I don't want to start a debate but a minor cannot consent even if they initiate. I know a lot of ppl who started escorting as minors to escape abusive families... Some places still don't check ID. At least 2 massage parlors out of 3 I worked at didn't require one.
Also a lot of teenagers are told by "friends" that you can just be a sugar baby without having sex with men. One younger girl I met started escorting that way. She was recruited on a website like this and told she would be "sugaring by the hour". She thought she'd just chit chat with men in exchange for money. Upon arrival the boss "tried her" if you see what I mean.
I don't think it's like that anymore but at some point sugaring was really idealized and glamorized. I met this guy who bought art from me but he made me go to the restaurant with him and asked waiters to take pictures of us.. he was bragging to me about having 16 year old sugar babies and he said it was "totally legal to date them" and he believed buying them a meal was payment for spending time with him...
Teenagers are naive and don't know any better..
I was offered weird things as a teenager and young adult lol I got paid to draw weird fetish art and talk about people's bizarre kinks... A very low amount of money.

À partir de 16 ans, oui, ils peuvent consentir à une activité sexuelle. Je dis pas que c'est intelligent de faire exprès de les prendre mineur, ça pourrait se retourner contre eux malgré tout, mais à partir de 16 ans, un adolescent peut consentir légalement.
J'ai vérifié et selon la loi tu as raison.. mais ce consentement n'existe pas jusqu'à l'âge de 18 ans dans le cas de prostitution. Il est illégal d'avoir une sugar baby de 16 ans.

I was 16-17 and those men were well into their 40s if not more so definitely wrong on many levels. Not Epstein level but still very wrong

That experience highlights the difference between young males and females in many ways.
Most high school-age boys would kill for that kind of experience; she probably knew and understood that. Teenage boys usually go home and beat off, thinking about such experiences.
I am not sure it would be the same if the teacher were male and the student female.
And yet, she still shouldn't have done that. It's gross and criminal and, while many men brag about it or wish it was them, many of those it actually happened to express disgust and over all negative feelings about it now that they're grown.
Like you said, the reaction from people is very different when it's a girl with a male teacher and this is a double standard I hate lol. Because every time these subjects come up on social media, the same men who constantly hijack women's posts with comments like "what about male victims" and "nobody cares about boys and men's mental health" or "women can rape too", are under these posts saying things like "He probably loved it, I know I would have" and "why did it bother him, is he gay?". Nobody cares less about male victims than men.
