Calling my comment "unrelated" doesn't make it unrelated.
You're the one who brought up "high fees" in your initial argument for why testing should be more frequent, and then later shifted to "it's free" as if that removes the relevance of what you said before.
So the question is simple: why introduce income in the first place if your position is that cost doesn't actually matter in determining testing frequency ? Either it's a relevant factor in your reasoning, or it isn't. Right now it's being used selectively depending on what supports the point.
Exposure risk can justify more frequent screening. That part is not in dispute. But income has no medical relevance to how often testing is required, so using "they make good money" as a basis for "no excuse" is not a health argument, it's a value judgment.
And that's exactly why my original comment wasn't "unrelated". Once you start framing expectations around what people earn and what they "should be able to afford", you're no longer just talking about medical guidelines, you're also implicitly talking about pressure, assumptions, and how you view the people doing the work.
And "they chose it" is such an oversimplified argument. A lot of women in that industry are there because of financial desperation, coercion, abusive situations, trafficking, addiction, or lack of options.
Maaaan... We can tell you haven't spoken to SPs overall... They say that ignorance is a bliss but in your case, we can see that you need some proper education. Don't talk about things that you're clearly unaware of, because it'll look bad on you.

Yeah I wish I could get tested every week but there's not enough space in clinics and resources in the health care system ..
Maybe stop asking for bare oral services and we will be ok. The demand from clients is why we offer it.

I use prelib plenty of facilities they do check everything it takes 15 minutes and it costs 15 bucks. For someone who does this kind of work I am surprised you don't know this service.
I have used them before. It's a 400$ bill for a test and no clinic would accept testing you that often.

You have no idea how much money I make and what I have to spend on. I already have health issues that cost me a lot. Your comment is inappropriate.
I am not super high volume compared to agency workers so maybe contact their bosses and ask them to test their employees every week. See what they answer.
the real question is, who wants vs who provides..obviously you dont wantt to leave a few bills on the table, so you provide...if you were so focused on your health you would make the right choice..

The public system doesn't allow us to go every week for free STI tests, it can't support that. It's not how this works. I follow the recommendations of my doctor given my situation, resources available and common sense, your opinion is irrelevant.

I happen to have asked my nurse at the clinic I go to, who works with sw a lot, how often he recommends I should, he said getting tested more than twice a month is pointless.
Even in legal brothels on Nevada in which people are obligated to get tested, it definitely does not happen every week.

Because it wont change anything! Testing is of the utmost importance regarding your own health but, in the context of hobbying, shouldnt be taken as a full security thing. Virus incubations can cause serious delays between getting infected and getting a positive result.
Thats why newly engaged couples have to be tested at the start of the relationship and then, 3 months later if they wish to have unprotected sex. So bottom line is you make your own decision regarding your tolerance to the level of risks you find acceptable for yourself.
Yes that's what I think as well. People need to be informed and make their own decisions. As a SP, I would prefer only offering just safe services, but it doesn't work with my GFE branding and the Montreal market just doesn't allow that for escorts. Even when I charged 220h people still wouldn't want to see me if I didn't offer bbbj and daty.. the ones who did ended up pressuring me. Personally my tolerance level of risks is that I get tested frequently (in my opinion every 3 weeks or once a month is more than enough), I don't have a super high volume of clients and I try to cater to clients who take care of themselves and are respectful.
I just often see clients say they get tested once or twice a year, and that is far from being enough if you always have new sexual partners, particularly if those partners are high volume SP. No shade to these SP btw, it's a choice they make, but I do find it unfortunate that at agencies this service is mandatory. It puts everyone at risks, and doesn't give workers any choice in regards to their sexual health if they want to work. I know it's also the same at some massage parlors. GFE service is the norm in Montreal, that means we all have to be more careful.
I consider I'm doing enough personally. The reason I'm talking about this, is because for some providers, missing 2 weeks of work could mean not being able to pay rent or feed children.
