Back on topic, guys, before I start removing off topic posts. The occasional banter is one thing, six straight off topic posts is too many.

I miss those dresses that where a man's dress shirt...loved those! I miss stockings and girls with lip liner. I miss escorts in lace teddies and I loved the long feathered hair like Farrah Fawcett used to wear and girls trying to look like Daisy in her Daisy Dukes. I miss a sexy young girl wearing a head band under long hair wearing a sexy wife beater and tight jeans smoking a Virginia Slim.

Note to Lovermaker - Are you kidding me? You are not looking for a sexual high? If your not, save your money and quit this hobby. My point is that the first few times at a Termas, at a FKK or in Montreal I was on sensory overload. In Montreal I remember after a few years I grew complacent or "used to" the Montreal scene. I grew a little tired of what I called "Being held hostage" in my room waiting for an escort to knock on the door. I remember seeing a marginal girl and not being satisfied...I was wondering if it was her or me? Was the hobby becomeing old hat? It was not as great a thrill as it once was. After some time off, a chance layover in Montreal brought about a similar thrill as the good old days. Additionally, a few months ago I stopped in and called Eleganza. It was so good I missed my flight the next day(oops) and I called E again. Seperation makes the heart grow fonder...You can get too much of a good thing!

I miss extra long oral sessions with Miss Jessy , As the owner of MSC she is the Best in North America IMHO, but as an escort she was the BJ Champion of The WORLD and maybe the entire universe. A close second is FKS when it started and was only Giszelle and Melaine.

I don't know if it still exists, but there were those yellow bubble gums that looked little gold nuggets and came in a pouch, like a little bag of gold.

I miss the Mac's convenience store, with the scottish-cat yellow logo. It was just cool. (I think they still have it in Ontario.)

I miss Topps baseball cards in the 10 pack. It came with a peice of that pink bubble gum which was extrememly hard. My jaw would be sore as I opened the pack I would open the pack and put some of that gum in my mouth. As I started chewing I would review my cards "Dusty Baker, Dusty Baker, Ted Shows how with Mike Epstein, Joe Neikro, Dean Chance, 3 more Dusty Bakers, Carl Yastrimski and Willie Horton! As soon as I was done scanning my cards my gum would run out of flavor and I would open another pack and start over Dusty Baker, Dusty Baker....

I miss my short wave radio when I was spending hours trying to catch a program coming from abroad, from a distant and mysterious country. I was training my ears to discern and understand foreign languages.

I had my rituals. I remember listening, like a devout, to Willis Conover jazz program on VOA (Voice of America). What a voice!

Back home in Montreal, I also listened to the jazz program on Radio-Canada that was hosted by Gilles Archambault..
There was also, briefly in the early 70's, a jazz program on CHOM-FM each Sunday nights that was hosted by a guy named Tremblay (I forgot his first name). He was always playing the same Horace Silver tune on every show: Song for my Father.

Then there was the radio show that was hosted by Len Dolbin every Sunday nights (I don't remember the station, was it CFQR?) and the show that was hosted by Patrick Straram.

I also miss the first period of jazz fusion when they were blending jazz with electric instruments: A have strong recollections from this piece played by the late Joe Farrel. I remember listening to that piece in the dark, in my bedroom and I was transported in another dimension!!!!

I also miss a thing: a good fender rhodes electric piano solo. Herbie Hancock was the master back then....

I've never been into baseball cards, but when Return of the Jedi came out they had some trading cards I used to collect.

I miss the "Festival de l'Humour Quebecois". It was a comedy radio show with Roger Joubert, Tex Lecor and 2 other guys.

I kinda miss wet dreams. A bit of a mess but they were nice. However I am not going to give up the mastering of bait to get them.

This is a good one! Finally, something I miss! I've been reading this thread and could not for the life of me think of anything. With the Olympics, I did think of the summers where I'd just do nothing and watch the Olympics (or the OJ trial).

Those guys were the highlight of one Christmas. Koo-roo-ka-ka-koo-ka-roo-ka-koooo!

I kind of miss the TV show Barney Miller and the sound track, Canon, Columbo, Love American Style, and Ellie May on the Bev. Hillbillies.

Sh!t man tu connais ca ?
