No, you go with the side of the fence that fits your argument best, as usual and if you were not a Yankee hater we would be hearing both sides from you. Well, thank goodness for some things i guess.

However, as usual I go with the facts and the likelihood. A-Rod continues to weaken and break down.

Cheers, Merlot

Ryan Braun agrees to season-ending suspension

MLB has just came out with the news that all-star Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers has agreed to be suspended for the rest of the season in regards to his involvement with the recent Miami clinic peds scandal.

Braun has admitted to using improper judgement in regards to the scandal & has apologized to MLB and the fans. A-Rod next??

Actually AROD NEXT would not be a bad thing, gives him time to get ready to be completely healthy for next season.

Where I belong.
I have officially given up on Josh Johnson, he is a total bust, no wonder the Marlins gave up on him.

Maybe it's time to give up on cc Sabathia.

This really bothers me. Obviously there was some type of plea deal with Braun in which he sits out the remainder of the season AND offers up a statement admitting his guilt. However, his team is in last place and has no shot at anything this season so why not do it in his case. Now MLB has a decision on players such as Bartolo Colon, Jhonny Peralta, and others who are playing for contenders and possible playoff spots. Will they take the same deals? Hell NO!! This is going to be very slippery slope for MLB!

Oh and how on earth could that POS Bartolo Colon NOT be taking shit!! Look at him this season, he's huge and dominating at times. No f'n way he's clean.

Buchholz is scheduled to visit James Andrews, just the mere fact that he is being examined by Andrews is not a good sign because the news could be very bad, If the Red Sox don't trade this catastrophe waiting to happen they are nuts.

Well, the Buchholz has completed his visit to Dr. Andrews and received a clean bill of health from the good DR. Only problem stated by Andrews was the inflammation in Clay's shoulder which he attributed to his lack of pitching for the past 7 weeks, lol!!! Now, in my opinion the Sox had no business sending Buchholz to see Dr. Andrews at Clay's request for a 2nd opinion, what they should have done was sent Buchholz to a cardiologist to find his fucking heart that he apparently has none of!!!!

Get him healthy and ship his fragile as glass ass the hell out of here!!

No Heart vs. Millions of dollars in the future? This is a business to the players of today and always will be for the kind of $ they can make. It is not 1950 anymore, sad but true.

Me thinks that Josh Johnson will either be traded or DFA'd, me also thinks that Gibbons will be on his way out sooner or later, me also thinks that the Red Sox tailspin has begun, they just barely eked out the series against the Yankees "B" team, they also got spanked silly by the Devil Rays tonight.

Go Rays!!!!

Spanked silly, Joe? Get a grip bro. They went up against a phenom pitching who was "ON" like mad tonight. They may not hold on 1st place after this series but they'll still be way ahead of your Yanks! Bwaaahhh!!

BTW, the Sox starter Brandon Workman pitching in only his 3rd major league game has not had back to back stellar outings!! The future looks bright here in Beantown! So bright, I gotta wear

Me likes how U thinks Mr.T :thumb: Yer predictions are coming true about the red sox. The way i see it, with fall coming (and we all know how well the sox do once the weather cools down, they FALL as well) it will be a race for the wild card spots beween the O's, Yanks, Indians, and Rangers as things stand today, of course that could change with one of Detroit and/or Oakland who right now are leading their respective divisons but could soon be in the wild card mix if Texas or Cleveland take over in the central or west.

The "fall" has begun early in red sox land, BUT it is still sunny and warm outside everyday, not even close to "fall" yet.

I agree. I was in attendance tonight for the disaster. What an awful, awful performance by this entire bunch of under-achievers!!

Johnson will definitely be dealt way prior to the end of the month. However, i don't think the Jays will get as much as they hope they could get for him.

On another note, i bumped into KISS frontman Paul Stanley earlier into the game. He reminded of an older Joe Sakic with long curly black hair.......

This is hilarious. The light hitting Yankees are on the verge of acquiring the corpse of the late 37 year old Alfonso Soriano. Doesn't Brian Cashman look at stats or does he simply look for more ways to squander the Steinbrothers money?

How come if I know that Soriano has a miserable .690 OPS away from Wrigley Field, The moronic Cashman doesn't? Good work, Brian. You're about to acquire the only player in all of baseball who will give you les bang for the buck than Vernon Wells.

There's only one possible explanation for this fiasco. The Yankees have hired Joe.T as an advisor,

You really think that anything has changed? Ha! Here's a quote for you. Can you tell me who said it and when?

"The great trouble with baseball today is that most of the players are in the game for the money and that's it, not for the love of it, the excitement of it, the thrill of it."

ESPN said:
Kemp says Braun should lose MVP award
Kemp's got a point, though one would think that the Yankees should also forfeit their 2009 A-Rod tainted Championship.

There is no ignorance like the ignorance that thinks things were better in "the good old days." So who was it that complained about greedy players who are "only in it for the money.?" Ty Cobb said it...in 1925.

No, it's not 1950 anymore. It's not 1925 any more either. And what's changed? Nothing.

I don't know about the light hitting Yankees, but when I watch David Ortiz, Jonny Gomes, Dustin Pedroia, Shane Victorino, and the rest, it's pretty clear that they love playing baseball.
