You don't really expect a 21 year old from Phoenix, Arizona to be the guy who saves your bacon, but that is exactly what Matt Knies did for the Maple Leafs, who stay alive due to his OT goal:

I have a feeling the Predators will still take it.
They have been the better team. The series should be 3-2 Nashville right now. Except Nashville took a brutal loss at home. Sometimes brutal losses happen, it's all in how you react and recover from them. Speaking of which, in basketball the NY Knicks had an extremely brutal loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last night, losing at home in OT after airballing FTs and blowing a late lead. This series appears to be headed towards a game 7. It's been very competitive.

AVS scored 28 goals/5games vs the best defensive team and one of the best goalies...and in the last 4 games GEORGIEV did much much better.....will stick with them.

Vraiment déçu des Jets, la seule équipe canadienne qui me donnait un peu d’espoir. Dans mon livre je considère que c’est une contre-performance. Je crois toujours que les AVS étaient à leur portée.

I had thought Winnipeg was not as good a team as their overall record, but did not expect Hellebuyck to be that much of a sieve. The Jets were an unqualified disaster after a surprisingly good regular season. As they play golf and ponder what went wrong, one of the things that went wrong is that they faced a very very good offensive hockey team that was clicking on all cylinders. They shouldn't have had to play the Avs in the 1st round, but that was their draw, and they went down in flames.

Your Norris Trophy Finalists are Quinn Hughes, Roman Josi and Cale Makar:
I believe this is Quinn Hughes award to win. I was a little disappointed that Adam Fox, who was also a point a game defenseman, wasn't nominated. I recognize the other 3 all had more points, and that this is an offensive defenseman award.

Much like in the Tkachuk family, there are arguments over which of the Hughes brothers is actually better, Quinn or Jack. We may soon be adding Luke Hughes to that conversation. He had 47 points this year as a rookie defenseman with the NJ Devils.

Oilers win! That 3rd goal in which McDavid assisted Draisaitl was really something to watch. As soon as McDavid unleashed the pass, his body language looked like "GOAL!!!!!!!"

Jason Robertson scores winning goal as Stars lance the Knights!!!!!!!!!!! Check this goal out, the rebound goes right out and hits him on the money on his stick, and he then slaps it into the net on the money, for a cash money goal!

Resulting from the total lack of discipline from Pietrangelo! I understand his desire to teach Seguin a lesson for his head check on Teodore, but as a veteran and ex captain he should have known better. If you really think you have to do this, as a veteran and a leader, you are expected to choose the right moment. But doing so when the game score is tied 2-2 in a series that also tied 2-2? That’s a brain fart in my book.

Great game to watch though.

Oups....MATTHEWS out tonight....so they will win...lol.
Have you heard any leaks in the Toronto blogs about what ails Auston? How could this not have leaked out? Every big city team has someone with loose lips in the clubhouse and the savvy beat writers no how to find those loose lipped off the record anonymous source types.

Will the Leafs do a reverse and be down 3-1 and win the series? As for Matthews found this post. What is known is that the 26-year-old played through illness in Games 3 and 4 of the series before suffering an injury on an innocuous hit while playing sick, according to the sources.
Picking the Stars and Predators tonight.
