Sure the Cats seems to be the better team but it’s the playoffs, everything is possible. Hockey is a game of momentum and emotions.
Arguably yes, but if Tony Stolarz and Sergei Bobrovsky read your comments, they would not be too happy. The good news is these 2 outstanding goalie tandems go head to head in the next round and the argument will be settled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the Bruins have probably the best pair of goalies in the league.
I consider the effort level that one brings to be part of talent. Pete Rose is all the time hits leader in MLB because of the effort with which he played the game, every day. The Leafs are a team of pampered, entitled, overpaid prima donnas, and that is exactly how they played, and exactly why their playoff results are consistently terrible year after year. How many goals did they score in this series? Good offensive talent is not stopped cold by the first good goalie they play. I do not believe they are that good. I believe they are overrated.Leafs had better offensive talent but the Bruins have probably the best pair of goalies in the league. If all Toronto players had played the series with the same energy level as Knies the issue would have been different.
Yes for money value, but in the team’s interest it would be more constructive if they could find takers for Matthews and Tavares. Imho, Marner and Nylander bring more to the team than the two other.I see Marner or Nylander being the top 2 trade candidates.
He has an expiring contract......no money to re-sign him, so you trade him before you lose him in free agency for nothing. It's pretty clear he has to go- NHL is a salary capped league. You simply can't pay everyone, so someone has to go, and he is the logical candidate.,,of those 5 teams..ST-LOUIS would b a good fit....they need such a player BUT it will not happen....will stay with MATTHEWS.
They will make room for him, Matthews and Tavares out!He has an expiring contract......no money to re-sign him, so you trade him before you lose him in free agency for nothing. Seems like he was going for it but missed(almost fanned it), the puck went luckily back to Trochek who didn’t miss on his backhand.Mika Zbinejad ALL ALONE in front of the net with the ability to shoot point blank on Freddy for a 1st period hat trick, but instead he back-passes the trailer- WHY????????????????
I am talking about a later play after Trochek scored.Seems like he was going for it but missed(almost fanned it), the puck went luckily back to Trochek who didn’t miss on his backhand.
