The GM should be the one who should get fired but as usual the coach will probably end up paying the price. But this being the Rangers i wouldn’t be surprised if both the GM & the coach all get the ax just like when they fired John Davidson, Jeff Gorton & David Quinn a few years ago. The Rangers & the word circus are often synonymous to one another.Yep....WTF is going on.....incredible....LAVIOLETTE said it was ''unacceptable''.....you bet...8 défaites / defeats /10 last games.....the fans don"t appreciate....lol....will the coach pays the bill?????
you forgot to mention back to back losses to backup goalies of Seattle and Chicago, whose goalie was 1-6-1 coming in. It's not what you want. Laviolette is feeling the heat.Yep....WTF is going on.....incredible....LAVIOLETTE said it was ''unacceptable''.....you bet...8 défaites / defeats /10 last games.....the fans don"t appreciate....lol....will the coach pays the bill?????
The problem is that it’s a slow, aging roster. And the way the organization has treated Trouba & past captains has disgusted many of the top players & possibly habe caused some to tune out. Player personnel is the responsibility of the GM. Laviolette is forced to go along with the players his GM provided him with. Maybe the Rangers should stop handing out no- trade clauses instead of going back on their agreement years later & start threatening their veteran players & team leaders.you forgot to mention back to back losses to backup goalies of Seattle and Chicago, whose goalie was 1-6-1 coming in. He’s playing on the 3rd line these days. He’s 31 & has 5 more years remaining on a big contract worth $8.5 million per year. His best days are behind him. I can’t see any GM in the league trading for him. Way too much term left. He also has a no movement clause which means the Rangers are either stuck with him or will look at buying him out in the future, which will result in a considerable cap penalty. They may have to wait another few years before considering this option.Next one to go: Zibanejad?
Could happen if the rumors about them going after Brady Tkachuk are true. The Sens won’t consider trading him unless Lafreniere is part of the deal. However he has an 8-team no-trade clause in his contract which likely includes every Canadian team so i’d be shocked if he waived it to be traded to Ottawa. It could work however if a third team got involved & would have to send their own package of players or high draft picks to Ottawa in order to get Lafreniere.LAFRENIÈRE?.....lol
The Rangers should be proud of themselves for squeaking by the likes of Buffalo, Montreal, Chicago….oops they got beat by Chicago! LolOufff....finally NYR 3 BUFF 2....nothing easy.....let see if they will improve from there...
Its ridiculous, I read somewhere that the Pens was the team that allows the most goals in the league, then the Habs let them score 9!!! LmaoMy goodness 9 goals allowed to the Penguins by the Canadiens at home. It was stat city for the Penguins, including a hat trick by Brust.
