Not a good one for the SENS yeseterday 2-4 vs DALLAS with only 13 shots....they play ST-LOUIS tonight while HABS playing HAWKS......interesting evening.
Sens are currently on a 9-game road trip. I don’t recall hearing of such a long road trip. The players must exhausted. I predict another Sens loss tonight for this reason. As for the Habs i predict they’ll resume their current winning streak tonight against the awful Blackhawks.

Read this morning that the Oilers may be looking at Quick, not sure if he would be available. Quick is posting better numbers than the two they have.

Not sure Jonathan Quick is better than Pikard or Skinner. That must be a rumor that came out of NY in order to gain interest from other clubs. Just like that silly rumor that Toronto is one of the teams interested in Jonathan Toews. Yeah sure! A rumor likely started by his agent! Lol

Leafs beat Boston 6-4 in a great game!
5 point night for both Mathew Knies & Mitch Marner! Knies jad his first-ever hat trick! Marner with a goal & 4 assists! Auston Matthews in his return had 1 goal & 2 assists! What a great game for the Matthews line! Yes, baby!

Several games today. The Leafs play Philly tonight. Will Auston Matthews be in the lineup? He looked great last night! I expect all the favored teams to win (Boston, Toronto, Tampa, Canes) except the Rangers. After being blown out by Washington yesterday they’ll face an easier opponent in the Blackhawks. However they’re a hard working team who’ve been competitive in most of their games since Luke Richardson was fired. As for the Rangers if they can’t beat Chicago then they might as well look at trading everyone & start rebuilding again!

The Sabres hancuffed Ovechkin and gets the win! Anything can happen in the NHL!
The Sabres are playing better since getting the monkey off their back when they finally put an end to that awful losing streak. By the way Florida lost again tonight losing to the Avs which means that the Leafs now lead the Panthers by 4 points for the lead in the Atlantic division.

In the news today

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jesse Puljujarvi continues to confound hockey fans everywhere.
Placed on waivers last week, the former 4th overall pick managed to pass through all the NHL's other 31 teams unclaimed. It was then reported that he demanded a trade from GM Kyle Dubas.

My guy... nobody wanted you for free on waivers, you think someone is going to give up assets for you in a trade? C'mon now.
Today, the Puljujarvi Saga in Pittsburgh took another surprising turn as it appears that he's ready to re-join the team on the ice for tonight's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He took line rushes with the team's main roster and it appears that he'll play for the team for the first time since December 7th.

Has there been a change in Kris Letang's status? Because the real reason for waiving him was to create room for another defenseman. A trade of Puliujarvi might have accomplished that objective, if someone would give the Penguins a "body" they could put out there on D. But either way they needed him off the roster to get an extra defenseman. Does this mean Letang is ready to go?

Who wouldn't plea not guilty? Even guilty I would fight 35 years in jail just because.

But if he loses he risks longer time.
I would say there is a very good chance he loses big and could get more time, based on all I have read about this case. But 35 years is a long time and he will be 79 years old at the end of that sentence having spent half his life in jail. Probably worth rolling the dice, because if he gets more time he will just die in jail which he might do anyway. His chances of winning are slim but he probably should roll the dice that the prosecutor fucks up badly, which can sometimes happen.

This is a lesson about what can happen when you make the bad choice to drink and drive, and also continue driving and drinking after having an upsetting argument with a family member.
