Leafs are now tied with Washington for the lead in the Eastern Conference & are now leading Florida by 6 points in the Atlantic division. As for the Habs they’re now out of a playoff spot after last night’s games & will likely continue to slide as the week goes on due to their inactivity until their next game friday. The Bruins were once again shut out at home & now GM Steve Kasper’s name has been circulating as possibly being in danger of losing his job if the Bruins end up missing the playoffs. Replacing great coach Jim Montgomery with Joe Sacco hasn’t provided the spark the organization was wishing for.

But they are not to be taken lightly, after all, they made it to the final last year. I think the Oilers are the kind of team that doesnt push too much for the President trophy, they save their energy and try to plan so they peak when the "real" season starts.

Fan Revolt in Buffalo; GM Adams On Hot Seat

Kevyn Adams isn’t going anywhere. Neither is coach Lindy Ruff. There are good players on this team. It seems like it’s more a chemistry issue than anything else. There is a chance that a new GM may be brought over after this season however if it happens Kevyn Adams will likely be retained & more than likely will be promoted to a higher-paying executive position with the team. Why? Because he’s one of the biggest ass-kissers in the history of hockey & has the owner in his pocket! As for Lindy Ruff he was just handed a big multi year contract prior to this season & i doubt ownership will want to pay another coach tip money for several years to stay home!

Kyle Dubas has been a huge failure running that team. I realize that Brendan Shanahan probably made the right decision to get rid of him in Toronto, something that had upset me greatly at the time. Dubas’ first mistake was letting Sidney Crosby make the personnel decisions for him such as keeping coach Mike Sullivan & not getting rid of the likes of Evgeny Malkin, Kris Letang & acquiring overpriced aging defenceman Erik Karlsson. He should have stood up to Crosby & offer to trade him if he objected.

I would not b surprise if McDAVID is suspended for his elbow hit in the face/JOHANSSON....he left the game and did not return....no penalty on the ice....BUT quite sure it will b reviewed.....anyway 2g1ass in a big 5-3 win vs MINN.
