Am I getting too old for this?

I travel a lot and often engage women for evening companionship. Usually some combination of dinner, drinks and a session. Mostly, I am looking for company, convo and a release. I’m closing in on 50 in a very few years and I wonder about being seen with 20 something women in public places.

From my prospective; I don’t care but it is also easy for me not to care. A well dressed man picking up a $$$ check can dodge a great deal of judgement. Women tend to be judged more hashly in western society.

I can’t say I have notices a decline in the quality of the experience, but I wonder if those 20 somethings are finding me a less desirable client for this type of engagement because of my age. It’s one thing behind closed doors but it another thing when wait staff is involved and it kinda clear that we just recently met.

For the record, I see 30 and 40 something women too. The 20 something’s have higher representation in the selection pool of most cities. They also use social media more so I get a better feel for their personalities and as a result, select them more often.

Am I getting too old for this?

I'm still far from reaching 50 but I've already asked myself that question. Honestly, it comes down to how comfortable she is with you in public. If you have good hygiene, good lifestyle habits and you look friendly, there's nothing more you can do. Honestly, wait staff can be judgmental all they want.. At the end of the day, the girl who chooses to hang out with you in public made her own choice regardless of whether there was money involved or not..

I'm rather young and going out for dinner/drinks isn't what I call a fun date so maybe the 20 year olds have the same idea? I find I need to have a more in-the-moment kind of approach to younger girls whereas 30 year olds would prefer a more old-school approach where you'd RSVP a nice place and confirm pick-up times, etc...

Like the old saying goes, age is just a number. Forget social norms, they're made for sheep/ships.

No comment....far too many threads on this subject and there is no consensus since every individual`s case is different.

BTW louis, there are no sheeps or hairs in the English language....there are though ships and hares...go figure.

I am over 50 now and my ex-girlfriend was 20 and the one I have now is 27. I really don't care at all about what other people could think about me or my younger incounters... I travel a lot and let me tell you that, I see many man older then I am going out with girls closer to theire teen. I bring often my girlfriends with me in other countrys, wich older woman can not come most of the time because of their "responsibilitys" wich younger girls don't really care.
I wouldn't say before year 2000 it was akward to see that but now days, no body cares about it any more.
I have only one life to live and it's not the other people that will tell me how I should be in today's society or make me feel bad.
I had enough of that when I was young, my parents family or friends that was telling me what to do or not to do. I am a responsable adult now and I entend to live the life I alway's wanted more then ever before I die.

I have been out with some ladies (SPs and not) 30+ years junior then me...me just CAN'T believe it.
Sometimes you get "The LOOK" from here and there but thats part of the game.
Few restos that I went where I knew the waitresses, the atmosphere was much different as they joined us for
few drinks and shots and stuff like that.

Also I would like to point out that, the girls "Enjoy going out", few times that I asked some of these ladies out, they were
quick to ask me if I know or have been to the XX or YY restaurant and if I would take them there.
(High end of course, they know everything LOL).

But basically, as hornylouis mentionned; age is just a number and I favorise quality over quantity anyway...

I'm 25 years older than my fav. She is an adult (in her 30s) but being Asian she looks younger. She tells me she looks younger even for an Asian. When I step out with her I have noticed some folks giving me dirty, disapproving looks. I could care less. In fact I like rubbing their noses in it. The only thing that matters to me is that we have fun and that I'm still capable of getting us both off.

Holy **** I've been using the wrong word for over 20 years! Now I feel dumb. I looked it up. I knew about hares but I found sheep doesn't change in plural. Is "ships" from the english in England?
