Well it looks like Texas, Florida, GA, Alabama, etc...etc...aren't the only ones who object to BO's new proposals. When we see what crybaby emotional Cuomo has done to his state.....well...We down here in the South always knew that the Girlimen in the North would be right in lockstep with those liberal pansies in CA on gun control. Interesting that these old timers see Cuomo in a "Brown Shirt": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTdhVxva5KU&feature=player_embedded

And then finally some sanity on the Mary Jane issue: http://video.foxnews.com/v/21445938...for-a-federal-marijuana-tax/?intcmp=obnetwork

The slow pace of reality on this issue is painful to watch. Damn, legalize the stuff and tax the shit out of it. I still won't buy it, but if Coors had to live on my beer budget they'd be bankrupt in no time. The only real losers in this would be all those enterprising Albertans that are making quite a living out in the sticks growing the stuff. American Farmers and Tobacco Companies would put these guys out of business in less than 2 years.

It would allow us to lower farm subsidies as well. Wait a minute, it's a win-win-win scenario. BO hates it when everyone wins. Well back to the drawing board......

As is the norm the wacko off the charts Piers Morgan chops up his interview with a Texas Gunproducer/Shopowner in order to put words in his mouth and totally misrepresent the actual interview. It seems CNN/Piers Morgan is now adopting the tactics of MSNBC and the NY Times as mediatype outlets instead of any reality or news reporting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iaHjcrAWfgI

Now this is the kind of imigrant that we need more of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZo4hbGJjVI&feature=player_embedded

LOL,

How long have you been obsessed with talking to yourself???

I love it when guys who never served in the military or did anything to put themselves in deadly harms way, such as joining the police force, fireman, etc, think they are John Wayne-Rambo-Sergeant York all rolled into one. I bet (just a figure of speech mods) if someone shot a rubber band at you you'd run.

Good Conservatives worship Jesus, but would they elect The Real Jesus.?

Feed the hungry - Welfare.

Heal the sick - for free, Obama Care

Turn the other cheek - Pacifist/anti-guns.

Kicking moneylenders out of the Temple - Anti-Capitalist

Born in a manger - No birth certificate.

Meek inheriting the Earth - Communism.

Works as a carpenter - Pro-union???

Forgive sinners - Soft on crime.

Presidential candidacy - Illegal foreign born Jewish candidate, uh oh.

 :D

I'm pretty sure "Good Conservatives" believe that "The Real Jesus" *MIRACULOUSELY* fed the hungry... twice.

Still sounds like "Welfare" to you?

Actually, most everything he does he does by himself in a dark closet.

Maybe he should just change his handle to Gollum.

Salut Parlwhore,

Freebies, OUI!!! Adam Smith rolls in his grave at the thought. Doesn't matter how it's produced. If there's no exchange for current monetary value it's anti-Captialist Welfare...according to Conservatives. Indeed, a most uniquely singular skill set like making miracles could only earn a staggering record premium.

Now this is the kind of imigrant that we need more of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZo4hbGJjVI&feature=player_embedded

The moral decay he refers to would be the failure of human fellow caring in favor of myopic self-centrism that only concerns itself with the primacy of individual selfish wants and desires...in extreme cases producing conspiracy fears and paranoid persecution obsession...ie...forget the slaughtered children and teachers, stop picking on me and gimmie my guns. Sound familiar.

Cheers,

ON JULY 20, 1969, AS COMMANDER OF THE APOLLO 11 LUNAR MODULE, NEIL ARMSTRONG WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO SET FOOT ON THE MOON.

HIS FIRST WORDS AFTER STEPPING ON THE MOON, "THAT'S ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND," WERE TELEVISED TO EARTH AND HEARD BY MILLIONS.*

BUT JUST BEFORE HE RE-ENTERED THE LANDER, HE MADE THE ENIGMATIC REMARK - "GOOD LUCK, MR. GORSKY."

MANY PEOPLE AT NASA THOUGHT IT WAS A CASUAL REMARK CONCERNING SOME RIVAL SOVIET COSMONAUT. HOWEVER, UPON CHECKING, THERE WAS NO GORSKY IN EITHER THE RUSSIAN OR AMERICAN SPACE PROGRAMS .

OVER THE YEARS, MANY PEOPLE QUESTIONED ARMSTRONG AS TO WHAT THE - 'GOOD LUCK, MR. GORSKY' STATEMENT MEANT, BUT ARMSTRONG ALWAYS JUST SMILED.

ON JULY 5, 1995, IN TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA , WHILE ANSWERING QUESTIONS FOLLOWING A SPEECH, A REPORTER BROUGHT UP THE 26-YEAR-OLD QUESTION ABOUT Mr Gorsky TO ARMSTRONG.

THIS TIME HE FINALLY RESPONDED BECAUSE MR. GORSKY HAD DIED, SO NEIL ARMSTRONG FELT HE COULD NOW ANSWER THE QUESTION.

HERE IS THE ANSWER TO "WHO WAS MR GORSKY":

IN 1938, WHEN HE WAS A KID IN A SMALL MID-WESTERN TOWN , HE WAS PLAYING BASEBALL WITH A FRIEND IN THE BACKYARD. HIS FRIEND HIT THE BALL, WHICH LANDED IN HIS NEIGHBOR'S YARD BY THEIR BEDROOM WINDOW.

HIS NEIGHBORS WERE MR. AND MRS. GORSKY. AS HE LEANED DOWN TO PICK UP THE BALL, YOUNG ARMSTRONG HEARD MRS. GORSKY SHOUTING AT MR. GORSKY,

"SEX! YOU WANT SEX?! YOU'LL GET SEX WHEN THE KID NEXT DOOR WALKS ON THE MOON!"

It broke the place up.

NEIL ARMSTRONG'S FAMILY CONFIRMED THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

That Jebus fellow was all about the charity. Welfare is a bit of a different thing.

Of course if you really wanted to get all biblical I am sure there is something in there that would justify killing all the hungry. Especially that old testament. We are talking a horse veterinarian's approach to divinity.

The following is a story from the Examiner.com written by Robert Moon. I can confirm the effects and the medaling by Janet Reno during the Clinton Administration. A Senior Vice-President of Wells Fargo told me during that time frame of threats by Janet Reno/Clinton Adminsitration pressuring lending institutions to make loans by geographic and racial guidelines rather than ability to repay. Specifically I remember this Senior VP telling me that he wouldn't be making a specific loan in an "underserved" area if not for continuous direct phone threats by Reno. So now not only do we have anecdotal evidence, hearsay evidence, but now direct statistical evidence and timeline of a failed policy pursued by Democratic Operatives citing a major cause of the collapse of the economy:

A new study from the widely respected National Bureau of Economic Research released this week has confirmed beyond question that the left's race-baiting attacks on the housing market (the Community Reinvestment Act--enacted under Carter, made shockingly more aggressive under Clinton) is directly responsible for imploding the housing market and destroying the economy.

The study painstakingly sorted through failed home loans that caused the housing market collapse and identified an overwhelming connection between them and CRA mortgages.

Again, let's review:

-President Bush went to Congress repeatedly for years warning them that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were going to destroy the economy (17 times in 2008 alone). Democrats continuously ignored him, shut down his proposals along party lines and continued raiding the institutions for campaign contributions on their way down.

Timeline shows Bush, McCain warning Dems of financial and housing crisis; meltdown.

-John McCain also co-sponsored urgently critical reforms that would have prevented the housing market collapse, but Democrats shut that down as well, along party lines, and even openly ridiculed anyone who suggested reforms were necessary...to protect their taxpayer-funded campaign contributions as the economy raced uncontrollably toward the cliff.

-No one was making bad loans to unqualified people until Democrats came along and threatened to drag banks into court and have them fined and branded as racists if they didn't go along with the left's Affirmative Action lending policies...all while federally insuring their losses. Even the New York Times warned in the late 1990s that Democrats continuing to force banks into lowering their standards would lead to this exact catastrophe.

-Obama himself is even on the record personally helping sue one lender (Citibank) into lowering its lending standards to include people from extremely poor and unstable areas, which even one of the left's favorite blatantly partisan "fact-checkers," Snopes, admits (while pretending to 'set the record straight').

-Even The New York Times admitted that there is "little evidence" of any connection between the "Republican" deregulation measures Obama blames, like the Gramm-Bleach-Liley Act (signed into law by a Democrat), and the collapse of the housing market.

But non-Fox media have spent years deliberately and relentlessly inoculating people against the facts, training them to mindlessly blame Bush for being in charge when Democrat policies destroyed the economy. So here we sit, to this day, still watching Obama excuse and shrug off endless economic failures, illegal government takeovers and utter national bankruptcy with zero accountability.

Sorry Vercin machin... but I know better about the 2008 meltdown.

Sir, I was at Ground Zero prior to, during and after the 2008 Meltdown. As I alluded to in my previous post, I saw and heard everything up close. Of the three large factors in the Meltdown, the Libs were major instigators in two. I still remember closing real estate transactions and betting with my employees which ones would be foreclosures and which ones wouldn't. It's often that I encounter a property that I handled and knew from the file itself that it was bad. I can still remember the Federal and State supeonas for files where I actually threw people out of my office for some of the stuff that they WERE TRYING (not successful). I didn't and wouldn't participate. Worked out great for me, but I saw where my competitor from across the street was arrested sometime in the last year for fraud and embezzelment. No sir, very much doubt your info is more direct and complete than mine.

During the "boom" I sold off all of my B & C real estate and bought A & A- stuff. One of my "C" properties was the very last sale just a few months prior to the collapse. I sold this gentleman (a minority) a little "concrete bunker" home in a marginal neighborhood for $149,900. Same home I bought a few years earlier for $38K. Yup, he was a "beginning landlord" who wanted to get in on the gold rush. The local bank had him preapproved on what we used to call a "lier's loan" (no-doc stated income loan). Just before signing the contract he got tricky and brought in his "cousin" to claim he was due a commission. Even though this "cousin" was not the one who actually made the sale, I still honored his agency and paid his broker the commision. You see as a person on the front lines, I was seeing everything crumble right under my feet. So I agreed to pay the commission even though his "cousin" really didn't earn it. It was worth it to me to get out from under that property at top price. 1.5 years later I happened by to see an REO sign on the property. The lender resold it for $30K. I 1031'ed into a light commercial A- property in an upscale local town.

Take that to the bank.

Alyssa, it takes 2 to tango. If you guys stop posting, he'll grow tired and stop. I was actually finding the monologue amusing. ;)

If a mod close the thread, we'll again be accused of all crimes possible against freedom of speech.

Sit back and enjoy the show, no participation required, not even any need for applause or booing.

Gee Mod when I used a deragatory term (m____n) referencing no one directly I got banned for one month. When Alyssa takes aim at me directly with a deragotory term she gets a "now, now children let's play nice". Just so we're keeping track of this bias. Mod 11, ever think about working for MSNBC? I hear they're looking for folks like you. May I say you'd be a natural.

As an aside you do see me debating and responding to some posters. The fact that I don't respond to some who have a penchant for being deragatory or insulting is a function of the Moderators not enforcing the plainly stated rules. This leaves my only defense being to ignore these bad actors. Mod 11 does not like me stating whom I'm ignoring and believes it's a manipulation of the rules. So in order to cajole and placate Mod 11, I simply don't state who I'm ignoring. The fact that one little immature female (notice I didn't use "lady" ) can't keep it together by being ignored really shows her childishness.

Mod 11, I'm being quite careful to add in my editorial on most items I post. I wouldn't want you to accuse me of just posting stories without comment like many of the other posters get away with. Thus I'm adding opinion and perspective to the content, something many of the more active (not verbose) posters are not doing.

I've been PM'ed and at least some of the members do enjoy my posts. As it happens, I also sometimes post duplicates on Facebook as well. One of my above posts (the Facebook Version) was so popular and as of the time of this post had 5161 Likes, 313 Comments (all but 2 positive) and a whopping 2,301 shares. I'm not sure if this qualifies for "viral status", but it does seem that someone likes what I have to say.

Sir, I was at Ground Zero prior to, during and after the 2008 Meltdown.

The fact was and remain (no matter your personal experiences) that Bush didn't know sh!t about what to do when it came and neither his own as*wipes who plunged this great nation in deep sh!t with their arrogant 'know-it all' attitude which created all this.

If they had in fact worked with Dems instead of against, if they didn't start this BS witch hunt against Clinton and if they had listened to their allies like Clinton did, instead of bragging like mega-as*holes in starting IRAQ, etc. etc. etc.

It all comes down to an attitude for which the whole world (less Pakistan it seems) is getting f*kin' fed-up.
This childish retarded way of always blaming everyone else than themselves for once is exactly what's driving the whole world away from the US.

The day these fantastic morons will wake up and start finaly to work this out with Dems (which the whole world knows the presidency was robbed from them and now have earned it) will be the day I will start thinking that they have anything to say worthwhile.

Other than that it will be CLEAR to me that those Bush' worshippers can just STFU.

Bush didn't know sh!t and this goes for all his worshippers who still don't know sh!t about how the world is today !

Cheers !
