Another Agency Set To Raise Rates To The New Standard

Checked out Asservissante web site and noticed that they are set to raise rates in April to the new 200$ standard like most agencies.

I'm guessing they had to raise the rates to keep and attract new talent. Heck, nobody likes working for minimum wage.

You know you've been hobbying for a long time when the standard use to be 120$ when I started.

Oh wel, I guess everyones trying to make an extra dollar theses days.

Yeah, personally I pay $200 anyway regardless if the price is $160 or $180, and then just pay the normal price if I have an less-than-expected experience (which can happen for various reasons). I think that's a fair method. But $200 asking... what the market can bear, I guess. But these sorts of things can always backfire, since at that price-point there's a lot less tolerance for the SP having a bad day, or being tired, even slightly inaccurate or old information, etc. I think a $200 standard basically empowers the trusted agencies since I'm not going to walk into that situation unless I have a preexisting relationship with the booker. Which might not be a bad thing, and for example it could widen the indie niche a bit.

ya i just saw this, it sux as asservissante was one of my most used agencys,, good thing there seems to be a couple new agencys that are a better bargain, vals new agency, and xxxtases other one i believe,, i think xxxtase even had a girl on for 130 a few days ago,, not to mention candyshop still at 160-180 i still have some agencys im willing to use!

Well guys, this is not the feeling I have.

I just received a couple of days ago a private post from a guy from Toronto (a big spender! Sorry, I wont disclose his name). His reaction was that with this sudden raise in Montreal (let's say sometimes it is $200 + 40 for CIM + room+ 20 if you're not downtown) he will probably stay in TO (where there are a lot of incalls and a variety of different types os escorts).

Well the prices were doomed to go up . Drivers have to pay for fuel and we all know the cost of it mainly during winter time . Hotels well a decent room is at least 50 to 60 bucks although I take the highend
rooms at the Chablis 120 bucks + On top of the 200 dollars plus extra's I'm looking at 350 bones for a good time .
If it's possible for you to have the girls going over to your place then that's kinda cool but if you're like me and many others that can't receive sp's , then incalls becomes the best alternative.

But if we don't want the prices to go up, then the real problem is the market we clients are supporting is the cause. If we pay more, the agencies will want more. It's our fault.

Mod11, just a fair question. What is the difference between a "useless quote" and one that isn't. I use them to be precise about what I am addressing and try to keep them small. But in my view deleting entire posts is over-stepping it...clutter or not.

L'économie ne va pas bien, alors, les prix vont s'ajuster avec la demande. Regarder les clubs de danseuses. Ils ont essayé de monter les prix à 15$ la danse, et les clubs se sont vidés ou les gars sont restés assis à leur table à regarder le "stage".
