Another Agency Set To Raise Rates To The New Standard

I'm guessing they had to raise the rates to keep and attract new talent. Heck, nobody likes working for minimum wage.

There is no confirmation that the girls will get a penny of the new price jump.
When i started it was also standard 120/hr. I know for a fact that the majority of the agencys were giving 80$-girl/20$driver/20$ agency.
When that 120$ became 140$.. Things were the same, except the agency was getting 40$.
Last year i had a friend who went to work with one of the big 4 agencys (through my recommendation(i had posted a thread about this))... That agency was charging a standard 180$/hr rate..and my friend was still only getting 80$/per client..with a 20$ bonus for calls after midnight.
I would assume that with the cost of gas, and standard life inflation (car reparation costs etc..) that the drivers would now be getting 40$, instead of 20$ a call.
The bottom line is its all a bunch of standard hooplah..because some drivers get a flat evening rate which isnt based per call.
One girl also told me they added the booker into the cost division mix...(agency/driver/booker/girl)
(which doesnt necessarily mean a booker..but more or less the booking fee, and all that comes along with booking like ads)


So im sure that at 180$ or at 200$ the girl gets the same thing.

So you are saying that out of $120 the ladies were getting 66.7% years ago, and now the ladies are still only getting the same $80 out of $180 (44.4%) or $80 of $200 (40%) before midnight. I don't see how this is possible. It's what...a 50% drop or so in the cut the ladies are getting out of the total fee. If so it's hard to believe and seemingly outrageous.

Agencies have had bookers other than owners handling calls since I started, so that employee dynamic cannot have changed. I can understand how the higher operating costs in transport have affected the percentage the ladies get, or that MAYBE 66.7 might be a little high, but 40% for the ladies is, again, outrageous if true. I'd sure like to know how accurate this claim is throughout the escorting agency system. It's hard to believe. But IF the ladies are only getting $80 of $180 or $200 then my view is the agencies are ripping off their ladies. 40% for these services...horrible!

But I have been told by a couple of ladies that they do get around $120 or so of those charges. One owner did tell me something similar a couples of years ago. I was also told some ladies get more because of their popularity and the agency wanting to keep them. That would be around the same percentage as 10 years ago.

It's always sad when prices go up, but you can't fight the free market.

For a long time, Montreal had the hottest escorts and the lowest prices.

Now it just has the hottest escorts.

You should see how booked up the Montreal escorts get when they are here in Toronto.

"it's only $20 may be the worst argument ever" and my guess would be that you are the same guy than complains about gas going up 10 cents per gallon (which is something you DO NOT have control over)

Like clockwork the standard has attempted to go up around $20/hr every two years

May 2008: $160
May 2010: $180
May 2012: $200

I posted a thread about this last year but the cost of hobbying in MTL over the last ten years has effectively doubled whereas inflation over the same period is about 20%

We can try these William Wallace-esque rally cries but the fact of the matter is that it is ultimately at the individual consumers discretion

I told myself that I would never pay $200 and I am sticking to my guns so Asserv. will be crossed off the list next month as will half of the Eleganza staff. Lots of good providers out there still @ 160 and 180. fact of the matter is that if everyone books up the $200/hr girls then 6 months from now $220 will be the "new standard"

- hire some competent drivers who don't get lost and save on gas
- hire drivers with mini-vans and can pack more workers into the vehicle instead of 1996 civics, corrollas, tercels

sounds like airline industry salesmanship... i'm surprised an agency hasn't started charging me for
a) asking for a specific timeslot ... airlines charge different rates for different departure dates, even to check-in online, retarded!!!
b) charging more (or less) for residence vs motel vs hotel
c) asking a question

more like $400+ for the "potential" of having a good time.

of course when the agency sends you a girl snorting coke in the john every 10mins, and she's wasting time it screws up the fun.
then if you have to call and book someone else to get your fix, it's another 180-220.

now you're looking at $600-$800 for a good time...

bottomline, the extra 20$ annually isn't a big deal... f! make it an extra 50$... but send over someone who's not stoned and can perform and won't complain they've been doing it all night. know what i mean ppl!!??!

i've been saying it for months that the price increases are not warranted and i have adjusted my hobbying accordingly. Despite what Tony at Angels thinks, I CAN afford the extra 20-40 dollars but chose not to do so because i can find what I like at 160-180. By the way the difference in price represents an annual diffference in my pocket of about 2k, nothing to sneeze at. Therefore, all these agencies at $200+ that I used to do business with are off my list and my activities are now mostly confined to MSC, Candyshop and Eleganza.

yes gas has went up 20% or so, and that is so out of wack that there is damn near revolt in the streets over it! so using that example it serves 2 cement our logic that the prices are rocketing too fast, not yours saying that its normal

Personnaly, i dont mind paying when the quality and the service is there, i have alot of respect for these girls who are doing a not always easy work... I consume once or twice a week and I always give great tips when they deserve it. Been dissapointed several times by false descriptions, then it's always too expensive, but when i deal with pro's, i think it's not mutch, I travel alot and Montreal is the cheappest place i Know for GFE. Knowing what the girls keep after paying the booker and driver... Jeees it cost more for a descent meal in a good restaurant. I know most of you will dissagree cuz you think only about your own pocket, i do also, but i do think first about those human beings... It's my opinion

Unless your talking about those back page small time agencies most girls get $100-140 a call, most of the drivers have a base salary and the reason prices keep going higher is because everything keeps getting more expensive so why would this be any different?

It is clear that agencies are getting greedier .....give more to the girls is a bad explanation...cut the custumers and prices will drop...new york is new york ,alberta, ontario are what they are ,montreal ,quebec can afford only to be fair and reasonable or business will drop......it's getting out of hand for the bulk of local hobbyists who provide agencies' bread and butter.outsiders might say mtl is not expensive,true ....but they are not frequent repeat business
i have made it a point to let certain agencies know. I have several friends and we have decided to drop agencies that are jumping prices like gasoline. No matter how beautiful,competent a girl might be, the market is so competitive theat it makes room for us to go with other more reasonable agencies. Inncalls with so many private announcers has proven to be very pleasant and le3ss costly as you repeat visits. You very well know that a satisfied repeat costumer is important.....i am a businessman.......and as you loose some of those it is next to impossible to get them back... So you go ahead raise, raise, raise..... Remember you cannot count on only a few guys with big bucks, nor with the average joe with a few bucks............ Guys let's share our views

I know quite a few that have done it.......but the cost of living is much higher......so ?
Most of them are doing montreal too....life in toronto is much less pleasant..... I travel often there.
I just don't see your...."let's not......are you sure sure you got the message straight ? We are not asking rebates from the girls...... The agencies are getting greedy ..... Man on which side are you anyways ?
