Clients : what do you do if you booked an appointment days in advance but learn that there will be a little bit of rain on the day of the appointment? Do you cancel or still keep the appointment? Do you still drive or use Uber/metro? I'm curious.
If I don’t make it due to rain, I at least make sure my grandma was hit by lightning in order to have a valid excuse.

Maybe she decided you weren't a good match, or the arrangement wasn't convenient for her anymore. You also can't plan an arrangement before meeting the person and spending a lot of time with them, in my opinion.. That's why SD sites are flawed. You don't even know if you'll have chemistry or anything in common before meeting. As I said before, if a client I've never met texts me or emails me and says he wants to ''see someone regularly'', I don't trust him.
I think I've maybe made this mistake with 2 or more people back in 2023.

My question is.. for those of you who spend a lot of time on this forum, aside from providers.. what are your motivations for being so present in this digital space?
some reasons:

- possibility to discuss sex related topics in a semi anonymous way (more anonymous than my facebook where I have my aunts and nephews watching --- less anonymous than X or bluesky where I have bots and scammers)
- same as above but for news, politics, international travel,
- see who (or what) is new in the industry
- see who is available, promos
- read about crazy stuff
- read reviews if I am interested in meeting someone
- research about places I don't know about or don't frequent, like specific massage parlors or strip clubs
- boredom

I’ve been away for 20 years as I was married and loyal. For me it’s learning which sp are available there reviews which understand that each experience is different. Before I meet my first sp 3 weeks ago I tried 3 times to go see sp on Leo and it was a bait and switch situation each time. I like merb because I feel better informed and know better. Now I’m looking for my 2 experience

In my case, "Explain your lack of motivation for doing something else" would be a better way to ask this question... I have no doubt this applies to other regulars as well...

Do "passing the time" and "alternative entertainment" count as motivations?
Yes absolutely

I feel this lol. That's why I watch a lot of travel videos and weird reels on instagram

Why would rain make a difference, unless you own a convertible and the top won’t close anymore or it is an out door pic nic you have scheduled and have your heart set on that scenario.
Snow and freezing rain however can be very tricky. I did reschedule once for the next day as there was a huge snowstorm and it was really too dangerous.
I have been driving all my life since I was 16, it is like second nature and I am used to driving in snow and freezing rain so if I can’t manage it then chances are neither can a taxi or uber, if metro and walking is an option then I would do that, but cancelling because of rain makes zero sense.

Fradi- That post can only be meant to shame a client she knows or suspects is reading the thread. But honestly it just sounds like the proffered excuse for cancelling based on another, undisclosed reason.

Boredom.
There is just so much sports you can watch and activities to do.
When you are retired and everyday is a vacation and your friends family are working sometimes you need a distraction.
You just need to make sure you don’t take any of this stuff too seriously, just another form of entertainment and if you are lucky like I have been then you get to meet a few amazingly fabulous and gorgeous young ladies.

Yep I agree, however a client like that should be ashamed if anything it shows he has zero imagination lol.
Btw it would have to be a catagory 4 or 5 hurricane that would stop me from seeing Julia, she is an amazing young lady, the guy has no idea what he missed out on.

Unless it’s some kind of heavy rain that fills up the overpass’ (like we see in the news) i don’t see why i would cancel ?? The equation is simple ... pluie = temps de cul et j’ai du temps et vous, tout un cul ! So the date is still on.
