I’m planning a new bathroom and looking at a shower column like that one. Anyone have experiences/comments about it? Are the massage jets worth it?
I would be careful of the placement because you're going to splash water everywhere!

We tried one in our remodeled bathroom and it isn't as fun or helpful as you'd imagine. The fixed shower head shoots at a specific angle that isn't conducive to tall or sitting ppl in the shower (there's a little bench) and the horizontal jets are finicky. We might have gotten a dud but we switched to an adjustable overhead rain showerhead and hand-wand combo like below and it's way better.
I've never understood why here the bathroom design is to shield the outer bath area only by half. Usually the jets or splashed water go to the not shielded area lol
Never tried it, but it screams "gimmick". My 2 cents: stick with reputable brands, regular models.
In other words, if it ain't broken don't fix it. These random brands come up.with "innovative" designs that attempt to solve a problem that doesn't exist. Yes, I am a traditionalist.

No. It’s all about the look. The jets will not shoot water as you expect in your dreams. It’s the first thing to break and also the water will smell like aluminium within a year or two. Lot of investment and you will re-do your shower within 3 years and install a normal shower head. Instead of going for a column, i suggest you install the extralarge overhead spa-type showerhead.
I think you can get an advice for any plumbing problem on this forum. Ha!Ha!
