Craig Coxe vs Probert

Tie Dummy ( was he was here as a Ranger ) vs Probert. Tie cut Probert in a fight in Detroit..as he skated off the ice he motioned that he was the new heavyweight champ.

All of NYC , even if you didn't like hockey, tuned in to the rematch at MSG. They threw about 100-150 punches it seemed like in the first minute

Mario Roberge vs Darrin Kimble(boston)
Roberge was one of the best fighters in the NHL despite the fact that he was barely 5'11,180 lbs.
He took on some of the heavvies of his time:Kimble,Rob Ray,Sweeny,Byers,Donnely,ect...Another of his best knoc out was against Brent Huges, not once but twice!

Tony Twist vs Rob Ray.
Ray was unrecognisable after the fight.Twist gave him the beating of his life.

John Kordic vs Basil Macrae.
Those two have fought against one another on numerous occasions, most of theses fights are classics.

Those fights are available somewhere on Youtube.

The Coxe - Probert battles were wars. Some of the longest hockey fights ever. Had to admire Coxe as he always took off his helmet before every fight.

Anyhoo..........

I remember one fight between Bob Probert and Marty McSorley in the mid-nineties. They literally stood toe to toe for about a minute and a half and traded haymakers. But what amazed me was that after it was done, they patted each other on the head and both went to their respective penalty boxes to a standing ovation.
