The only difference is that for now, local law enforcement agencies in large Canadian metro areas have decided not to enforce the law. But that could change at any time.

The basis of anti-prostutition laws are almost 100% political. Like I always said, it is not about left vs right but more about authoritarianism vs libertarianism. This is an example of government policing ppl behaviors by creating victimless laws. Remove all victimless laws.

Unlike americans, Canadians can deal with gray zones. True criminals should be put in jail, not joe plumbers. Chasing Joe Plumber is viewed as resource waisting and doing so would also indispose ladies involved. It’s a bit like before the weed was legalized.
