Can an Indy girl with no reviews be trusted...

Seems like some high priced indys have little to no reviews to justify their rates which makes it very difficult to take the plunge with them.

Price never necessarily justify's or guarantees any particular level of service. When taking the plunge, it will always be hit or miss regardless of her rates (it will be hit or miss even with pages of reviews, chemistry can never be assured)
as for the reviews, there aren't many risk takers left. And the share vs. Leech ratio on merb is higher than ever in favour of leeching, so many people are gem hoarding (myself included)
Trust your wits, ask the right questions..and take the plunge

Some of those high-end indys get reviewed more often on TER than here; you might take a look there. Also, as you probably know, the Indy Companions seem to go through a modest vetting process; I think that they collectively want to maintain a good reputation and at least I would feel comfortable booking them.

Of the 782 peole online right now there are 6 advertisers, maybe 10-20 contributors..and about 756 people who are solely here for information provided by the reviewers

I am in the same boat, My main concern in a review is if her pictures match, restrictions and personality.
These 4 to 7 paragraph reviews just get a quick glance, never was a fan of reading the penthouse stories either.
Just my opinion as others may want to be " In the moment ".

Over the years I have found some real gems who had no reviews, I think sometimes you have to take a chance. I am getting much more selective when I walk through the door in the sense that if the pics are not accurate from the ad or the service provided is not what was advertised or discussed, I simply say thank you and walk away. The reviews of the indy's all have to start somewhere.
As to the price of services rendered, we all have a limit $$$ and a budget, if you are comfortable with a girl at any price that's up to you the quality of the service has little to do with the price.

I agree that the information given should be accurate and as up to date as possible and of course honest information. I see some Indys don't put all information that i would like to see, but they do ask a lot of us from the start, and that's ok, but when i ask the simplest questions that would not in any way be offensive or too personal, i would like some answers or i move on. If someone evades the question, then they are hiding something and of course this is my opinion but if i inquire about age, hair, breasts, nationality and are the pics of them authentic and how up to date are they, i would like an honest answer, and i in return will also be honest.

You can ask me questions, but when you ask me for my name,phone number, merb handle, age and ethnicity then i would also like answers.

Am i asking too much or just asking the wrong questions? I would like to believe that we are in a give give relationship and if you cant give, then why do i even bother.

Just because some people have found some gems with no reviews doesn't mean it's safe.
If you booked 100 unreviewed SPs, and you find 10 gems. You are still in the spectrum of "it's still not safe" cuz chances are your next booking is NOT going to be a gem. This is exactly like backpages, there are gems but they are rare.

It's also a question of whether you can handle the risk. Some people can afford trial and error on backpages, most of merbites know to stay away if you are looking for a sure thing.

I don't know about safe, best I can do is that someone who knows them (can be another SP) can say this person is a real provider.

In terms of reviews vs justifying rates, it all depends. Sometimes they do not attract the number of bookings they would like so they lower their standard as to the type of person they would like to see, or seek a side job at an MP or strip club working incognito. Some even take down all their content and come back with a different name and lower rates.

From the client side we only see reviews as creating demand, and then demand drives prices up. What if she has other stuff going on her life and can only accept a certain volume of calls, so this is reduced supply. So many variables here, its not one size fits all.

10 years ago when I first started the hobby reviews were the litmus test I used for everything. Nowadays I am far more adventurous and can see someone new sans reviews after just having a look at their website and twitter feed. I understand those who fear B&S, and I don't claim to be infallible, but after all this time you realize that most B&S is fairly easy to weed out within the first few moments of looking at someone's ad.

For me it's not the fear of B&S; I agree that most ads are fairly easy to read in that sense. Rather, I only have so many nights in Montreal, and so much of a budget, and I want to maximize the potential of a good night.

Also, since I've been thinking about it, one thing that does make me hesitate is a slew of reviews by first-time reviewers. There's one indy I've been looking at and I've read five or six reviews--all by newcomers. That gives me pause.

J'aime bien ton commentaire ,au niveau du/des principe (s).
Mais il y a un élément qui ne peu jamais être garantie malgré le bon vouloir de tous ,c'est la compatibilité ,quand ca ne connecte pas ,malheureusement ca foire . bonne revues/review ou pas .

For me an Indy girl charging $300+ an hour with no reviews to justify if she is legit or not is a gamble I choose not to take.

The last thing I want is a girl sitting in her bra and panties reading poetry to me for an hour.

That is one of the reasons why it's hard for me to trust an indy with no reviews.
