In September you were x9 times as likely to get covid and x36 times as likely to end up in the hospital

Today it is 0.7 and 8.5 so maybe it is time to realize that the vaccine passport is a useless piece of garbage and you are much more likely to end up in the hospital also than before and almost as likely to be infected by a vaccinated person as an unvaccinated

In other words, vaccines keep the younger out of hospitals and leave room for the elder who have less severe forms but still may need oxygen.

When they were making the wild claims of 36x, the younger were making up for a large percentage of a small number of cases in hospital. Very misleading.

According to our information, around 100 people boarded the Sunwing company plane.
The aircraft had been chartered by a private club that organized a trip from Montreal to Cancun, Mexico to celebrate New Year's Day ... far from Quebec sanitary measures.

I hope for severe penalties.

No not in the least I am a realist. It would be nice however that it would do what it was intended for.

I have never bitched about the vaccines and as far as having something better to offer I don’t think any of us are specialized scientists in a position to offer something better, we post on an escort review board lol.
What I do bitch about to which I have a right as a taxpayer is the inability of our governments after two years of this to improve the health care system,
To add more staff more hospital beds, distribute rapid test kits to the population and N95 masks or at least have enough available to purchase at a reasonable cost.
I bitch about ineffective useless curfews that achieve nothing, stupid rules that are a joke like when during the first lockdown we could meet and talk to our family or anyone on the street but if they stepped onto our property it all of a sudden became illegal and we were liable to a hefty fine. Same thing now I can meet my children in a mall or Costco but not in my home lol.

What you keep harping on is that the vaccines are some kind of silver bullet or close to which they may have been with the first few variants but are certainly not with the last two. Every argument you have been making so far is a pro vaccine one, which I agree with just not to the extent that you are making it out to be.

In NYC last year, there were payments of $400 as I recall to some residents to get vaccinated. I heard that a lot of people held out for more money. I think these demands for greater compensation were met, but only up to $600. This program was big in the Bronx because they had one of the higher rates in NYC.

It is, but it did happen in NYC, and I think local health department heads were making these decisions. It may be that they received a certain allotment of monies and were told to do their best. Many people probably refused the $400 to get jabbed, and the refused monies in effect created a large fund with which to bribe willing recipients a little more than $400. Obviously the money eventually runs out. But their jobs were to get people vaccinated and they would tell you, "we did our jobs."

BTW I know someone who used to work in a large city health department that got federal grants and usually those employees are given wide latitude and discretion on disbursing grant monies based on need for the funds. So the health department authorities in Bronx may have said to themselves if we have to pay a few hundred more to get more fannies vaccinated, let's do it. As you said it is blackmail and bribes, but I think it's mostly playing out on a very local level. And these were "calculated bribes"' in response to opportunistic blackmail. It happens in all capitalist societies.
