^^^^ Recently the judge made a ruling in Quebec that will affect all of Canada which I think is totally ludicrous. The Quebec government was blocking asylum seekers to get access to low cost subsidized daycare which I 100% agree. There is a long wait for Canadians to get access to it and it would not be fair to be giving access to foreigners when there are not enough spots for Canadians. The judge made a ruling that asylum seekers will get access to our ultra low cost taxpayer funded daycare.

^^^^ The decision is based on weird Liberal social justice. Here the chief justice said that the existence of Canada's border is discrimination. That is what Trudeau wanted since he got elected is to have open borders. Carney carries on his legacy. The idea is anyone can come to this country and claim asylum and get access to free healthcare. He said if citizens get it so do asylum seekers should get it. Asylum seekers get access to better healthcare then Canadians do. It has been well documented that asylum seekers get access to things like eye care, mental health services, prosthetics, wheelchairs and many other things that Canadians do not get access to unless they pay for it either via their insurance or out of pocket. And even then if using their insurance they got a deductible. Now asylum seekers will be getting access to subsidized daycare.

The claim ultimately from the Supreme Court is, if Canadians get it then asylum seekers should also get it. They frame their decision in the name of social justice. They say that this reinforces negative attitudes and stereotyping that refugee claimants are financial burdens whose claims for refugee status is bogus. Finding that the program is discriminatory and serves not to only counter the bleak message but also to denounce and convey disapproval of such treatment of a disempowered group. This is the first time that I know of that a judge make a ruling to say that we cannot look at other people in this way so that is why I am making this ruling. Those that sound like justice to you? That sounds more like Liberal Social Action and this has zero place in our courts. This sends a message to the whole world that anyone from any country can land and make an asylum claim and get a free hotel, monthly paychecks, access to our tax funded healthcare, all of our resources, our subsidized daycare which we pay for with our tax dollars keeping in mind that in Canada already one in four person already works for the government. I think this decision is disastrous for Canada.

Remember the Liberals supported Century Initiative plan to have 100 million people by 2100. Carney carries the same Trudeau agenda but in a sneaky way.

This is exactly what the majority of Canadians want though. That's why Canadians keep voting the Liberals into power and not the Conservatives. Or they're Quebec voters and voting for the Bloc, which is meaningful on a provincial vs provincial interest level but meaningless on a federal policy level like this.

True but their decision is not based on facts, it is an emotional decision. Always the same rhetoric "We do not want another Trump", "We do not want to be like the USA". But they should remember it was not Trump that caused the problems Canada has like the housing crisis and declining productivity, Liberal policies did that.
