Dave Chappelle has always pushed comedy to limits that might make people feel uncomfortable. But he is an equal opportunity offender - he goes after everyone and calls out their b.s.
He once walked away from a guaranteed $55 million from Comedy Central to be able to do comedy his way. His latest special for NetFlix has met with a wave of criticism for his "inappropriate un-PC " humor from some critics. Rotten Tomatoes has his special approval rating at 38% by critics, but 99% approval from the audience.

A small clip(NSFW) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKZPwusA1qg

I enjoyed the show. There were a few jokes that made me feel uncomfortable, but I think that's what the great comedians do. I have no problem with humor that criticizes everyone and has no sacred cows. Someone once said : "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize."
Did anyone else see this and what were your thoughts?

Look behind you.
Will make an attempt to see it, do enjoy good comedians, do not get offended very easily.
A few of my favorites are Jim Jeffries ( Slacking a bit since he went on TV ) Anthony Jeselnick... thinking person's humor. Jimmy Carr... One of the better ones... IMO.

Saw a white woman on CNN this week critiquing the performance. She claimed to be a fan of Dave Chappelle, but she was disturbed by his jokes concerning women and gays and his use of the "n" word. Well that's over 50% of his act. She can't be a fan if she objected to all of this. I think like most members of the media she has to toe the PC line where she criticizes the performance but not the performer(who is black). Someone who is so worried about being called a racist. Kind of like the woman Chappelle talks about in this NSFW clip from the special:

Or maybe this NSFW clip on Chappelle's take on women's equality:

10 years ago this type of humor would have upset me. But with the PC police everywhere nowadays, this humor now, while shocking , is refreshing.

Thanks for posting this Patron. I would have missed this since I stopped following SNL years ago. I googled this after I watched your clip and I had to laugh at some of the reactions. "As a white woman, I was deeply offended by ..." and "As a person whose cousin has asthma, I was deeply offended by ..." Might as well say "As a person who is easily offended, I was deeply offended by ..."

I am glad there are still comedians like Chappelle and Burr who say what they feel and don't feel the need to apologize to every weak minded person out there.

Burrs monologue was spot on. I refuse to watch SNL anymore. A friend of mine who is a lib called me and said I had to watch it. I liked the John Wayne joke. Burr said “How stupid is that cancel thing? They’re literally running out of people to cancel. They’re going after dead people now. They’re trying to cancel John Wayne. It’s like God did that 40 years ago.”

This is the thing about the sanctimonious left. They have lost their sense of humor. Comedians need to continue to speak their mind to show how ridiculous all this PC BS is. You can’t even laugh anymore. Everyone has to walk around with this sullen brow embracing victimhood at every turn. Good for you Bill Burr!

incidentally, if you’re a big Burr fan, you’ll notice he recycles many of his jokes. The refusing to wear a mask reminds me of the sink the cruise ships routine to control over population. The John Wayne reminds me of the joke about stop making that movie. He talks about they are running out of anti racism movies when they made the movie about the first all-black swim team. “I officially don’t give a fuck! What’s next, the first all black ping pong team?”
