Two comments:
I can't imagine that the drastic change in the exchange rates of the Canadian and U.S. dollars over the past three years won't decrease U.S. tourism to Canada (both in and out of the hobby) particularly now that a psychological barrier has been reached, both because of the now higher costs in Canada and also other countries remaining or becoming better "deals."
If Montreal agencies are going to try to play "catch-up" with Toronto, there will be those able to make the choice where to visit who will choose Toronto - sacrilegious as that may be, rather than Montreal.
