Let's say you have a disappointing experience with a SP (it doesn't happen very often thanks to MERB, but sometimes it does). Are you tempted to book one of your favourites shortly after to compensate for the so-so experience, or do you just go on with your life? I guess it's a personal question but I am curious if anyone has anything to share. Recently I had a very average experience where I left unstatisfied and it feels like the usual satisfaction is missing. It's tempting to book again.
Do you book another SP after a disappointing encounter?

I would rebook with someone I know I will have a good time with.
This doesn’t really happen with me as I see my ATF regularly and occasionally see someone else or someone new just so I don’t get even more attached than I already am.
Right now with covid I only see her so I am guaranteed a fabulous time always.

I usually do. One time i rebooked with the same sp, thinking that maybe it will be better the second time, but the result was similar. Since then, i never rebook and SP with which i have an an average or lower experience.
Short answer, no! Don't wanna waste time & especially my money on poor service or lack of fun. There is choice.. & i do repeat year after year if i get what i pay for.
If it's my last day in Montreal and I could have a long disappointing ride home or call up an old reliable and drive the 6 hours back to NYC with a smile on my face I would go with booking a favorite. Luckily LePenthouse is on my way back to NY and I can always slide in there for a good piece of eye candy to wipe away any bad experience.

One of the golden rules when on a hobby trip.... always leave on a high note.
I usually want to quit the hobby lol. I may not book for over a year. I just think to myself "why the hell am I wasting money on this stuff?". I could have a much more fulfilling sexual relationship with someone without paying, and have the lady feel actual emotions.
bad experieces are par for the course in this business, no matter how hard you try to avoid them. you forget about it and hope for a better next encounter. I've had a few rutts where i had several not so good appts in a row, but i have also had some real winning streaks
Did the same thing once, just because she was a highly praised provider here on the board, I thought I caught her on a bad day. Both encounter were 2 hours so the damages were a bit high. Never again, now I simply move on, we have so much choice here.

The first type is when an appointment is absolutely horrible and a complete waste of time and money. I had a couple of those types of appointments up there.
The second type is as soon as the lady shows up at your door and you begin thinking, “She looks ok but I was expecting a little more based on reviews, or comments from booker. I should have stayed in the states this weekend.”
Regardless, the inclination is to double down, but don’t. It’s the really lousy appointments in Montreal that make us appreciate the stellar ones so much more.

I do not trust the majority when they rate looks 9 - 10, have seen these people and are usually rated too high.
If you went to a restaurant and the food was awful would you return ? This is a business for them and if they are not able to perform and give quality service, No I would not repeat. I have spoken to SP's who have told me that they are less than enthused when meeting a client who has body odour or bad breath and will not perform at the top of their game. I always shower at the location I am meeting the SP so body odour is not an issue and bad breath, I bring my own mouthwash and will brush my teeth before I head to an appointment so I think I am usually rewarded. If after the effort I make the service is bad, I will not repeat, there are plent of other providers who give excellent service.
If I have a poor encounter. I usually take a break from hobbying. For some reason the most amazing encounters leave me wanting more and I tend to book a different sp very quickly. Usually in the same week.

I think some of you read the question wrong, it is not asking if you would repeat with the same person just with someone else to have a good encounter for the evening.

It happened to me in the past, about ten years ago, to have had a disappointing encounter, and no I have not been met with one of my ATFs.
Bad encounters happen when you take risks, but the investment is usually small.
