An extreme invasion of privacy:

http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/9822996/Lawyer:-Erin-Andrews-to-sue-over-nude-video?GT1=39002

What I don't understand about how this story is being reported is this: a peephole in any hotel room I have ever been in is designed for you to see out, not for a stranger to see in. If that were the case, I would have been able to watch Doc Holliday have sex on my recent trip by looking through his peephole.

If the hotel she stayed at had a peephole that could be breached so as to see in, I think she should sue the hotel. Somehow though, I don't think we are getting all the facts or they are not being reported accurately.

By the ways, I don't really find her to be that attractive.

I've always thought EA was fucken gorgeous!! I got a chance to see the video this am on another website but it's since been removed. Her body is flawless from what I can tell and if anything this should garner her even more popularity. :) Ok, I found the video I saw this morning. This is it. I don't think it's a peephole, I think it's some sort of spy cam in the hotel room even though it has the look of a peephole video.

After even further investigating, there are 7 videos of EA. Here's where you can download them all in one file.

She sure does seem infatuated with her own ass while she's doing her hair. Lol.

Her body is flawless.....and she has great hair. It's mainly her face that does not appeal to me. It's okay. I watched the video and I believe the camera must have been planted in her room. I think someone at the hotel must have gotten paid off to either give out her room# and perhaps give out an extra key to her room. This is pretty over the top but for some reason I do not think this is going to be the last video of its kind that is going to surface on an attractive female celebrity.

I've seen the 3 peephole videos of her. They were posted on a random site which has now removed them on account of her lawyers' cease and desist letter.

Each video is about 10 seconds long. Video quality very poor. Whenever there is a close-up of her face, it's overlit and you can barely make out her features. However, the full profile shots of her body look like her, as does her hair and where her hairline is.

I've been told that you can find the videos via torrent. The sites that claim to have the video off a google search will only infect your computer with spyware. If you really want to find the clips, go the torrent route but be warned, the videos are of very poor quality, barely worth the effort.

Jack,

I am sensing some doubt in your post as to whether it is her. Given that her attorneys have sent out cease and desist letters, they know it is her. She told them it is her. It's interesting that she could have taken the route of denying that the video is her, since as you point out the video is of such poor quality that she is not clearly identifiable. However, I suspect she and her attorneys discussed the fact that there may be other, unreleased video of her to prove identity and this is simply an exemplar of what the voyeur taped. Also, I believe she is highly embarrassed and infuriated by the preening in front of the mirror, something Special K alluded to earlier. It almost looks like the voyeur taped a lot more footage but culled out the most embarrassing parts- like the preening admiration of her ass in front of the mirror. While it seems like an excessively vain display, and somewhat comical, the truth is it is probably normal behavior by a very attractive woman in what she believes is the privacy of her bedroom.

I suspect the person who taped this has far more video of Erin than what he released on those feeds. Those feeds are simply a "greatest hits" compilation of what was actually taped. He probably has footage of her clothed and footage identifying her face. It's not like he just started taping when she was preening in front of the mirror. But, if the intent was to embarrass as opposed to making money, he likely only added to her popularity as SK said.

Erin is not due back on the air for ESPN until college football starts in September. Look for her sideline reports at that time. Unfortunately, she will likely be the target of drunken college dude hecklers who will yell, "hey Erin, we like your ass too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!":D

Not really. The bed was on the other side of the room. But you definitely could have seen a big nude guy walking up to the door after he heard a couple of very loud knocks. A nude guy with a cowboy hat, i must add. And no, it wasn't any sps knocking on his door! :D

You been hanging with the Village People lately, Doc?

That was just too easy!!! :p

ESPN Bans New York Post Reporters From Its Programming

In a stunning move, ESPN has banned all New York Post reporters and staffers from its programming as a result of the NY Post running 3 still photos from the Andrews nude video:

http://www.courant.com/sports/hc-ap-ct-espn-andrewsvideojul22,0,1790585.story

Keep in mind that the NY Post features some of the best and most respected sports journalists in the country including Peter Vecsey (NBA Basketball), Joel Sherman (baseball), Larry Brooks (hockey) and many others. I forget the name of their horse racing expert but he is also well known and respected.

Despite having the best sports pages of any newspaper in NYC, the NY Post is considered a sensationalist type newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch and they have never been bashful about posting sensationalist photos before.

I don't know what the big deal is all about other than a blatant invasion of privacy by someone whom i hope will be found & prosecuted. Okay, she's hot, she was nude & she looks good. Big deal. We're in 2009, not 1989. Ms. Andrews should be proud of her body. She also should be pissed that this happened, but everyone should move on now. She'll be more popular than ever now, and she didn't even have to film a secret sex tape in order to achieve this. What just occurred will likely make her a millionaire, if she wants it. Offers to pose nude will come (and even offers from the hardcore porn industry), but those can wait until her career as a sports reporter starts going on the downslope, many years from now. She'll be big & will get bigger within the next couple of years, or sooner.

Damn! Why doesn't this happen to me? ;)

ESPN Reaction

Doc,

The short and sweet explanation for ESPN overreacting is they want to make a faux demonstration of loyalty in order to hang on to Erin Andrews, knowing full well that she will now be as popular as ever. A few years ago after the infamous Suzy Kolber interview with a drunken Joe Namath, in which a pathetically drunk Namath attempted to kiss Kolber, ESPN came to realize the value of the sexy female sideline reporter (although in truth Kolber is nowhere near as hot as Andrews and a sober Namath would probably agree). It's probably been discussed by ESPN execs that when college football season starts, many people will tune in to see Andrews, and her sideline reports, including some who do not watch college football regularly.

It should be noted that the NY Post has responded to the ban and they are blaming ESPN for outing the video and identifying Andrews as its subject:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090723/ap_on_sp_ot/us_espn_andrews_video

"No one would have known that a sick voyeur had secretly videotaped ESPN reporter Erin Andrews nude in her hotel room, if the Mickey Mouse sports network hadn't sent a letter to an obscure Web site demanding that it take down its link to a fuzzy video of an unidentified blonde," the Post said in its popular "Page 6" column.

I would say that is an EXCELLENT comeback by the NY Post.

Don't see what all the fuss is about beyond the obvious invasion of privacy. If she was a dancer I wouldn't look twice at her.

By the way...be careful if you're looking for this on the net. If you have to install a special viewer to see it, you're going to be installing malware instead. It's not really worth the risk if you ask me.

Tape of Andrews' 911 Call Released

http://www.courant.com/sports/hc-webeandrews0801jul31,0,7660872.story

A 911 call to police by ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was released on Wednesday. Andrews had placed the call to Dekalb County authorities in Georgia on July 22 after she suspected paparazzi were staking out her home in a gated community.

Andrews, the subject of an illegally obtained video that hit the internet last week, reported seeing two men parked in front of her home.

"I have been in the news recently about being in the hotel naked and I have paparazzi outside my window and I was told by law enforcement that if I did to call 911," Andrews told a dispatcher in the call.

The operator said she was unaware of the story, but would send officers to her home.

"I did nothing wrong and I'm being treated like Britney Spears and it sucks," Andrews also said during the call. "They know I'm inside. I have private security that I'm working with, but they're not with me currently and they said call 911 ... I'm in a gated community. I don't know how they got in."

According to a report on TMZ.com, no arrests were made in the incident.

Her 15 minutes of fame must be up. Why else would she shed more attention to the incident? I haven't heard anyone mention it in over a month.

Doc, that's exactly the point, as college football season is starting and ESPN wants viewers tuning in. They probably told Andrews that she should do the interview so that someone who has information on the perp can come forward, but in reality it's all about ratings, ratings, rating!

I wasn't aware that College Football had a problem with ratings, especially on ESPN.

I saw her on Oprah last week. She's not that attractive. Okay, she has a decent body, but there's something about her face that doesn't turn me on. Maybe the fact it's quite obvious she's not a real blond, who knows.
