Have you been touched by cancer?
Many of you may think this is nuts or not care at all since its nothing to do with sex but what Farah has done only shows her to be a wonderful human being. Farah started her career out as a sex symbol - she actually defined the term. But I recently saw her TV coverage Farahs Story and also know a movie has been made of her fight with cancer. She was filmed throughout her fight by her friend Alana Stewart. On top of having to battle this difficult disease, she was also covered by the tabloids in a sensationalistic fashion while suffering the effects of cancer.Allowing herself to be filmed while suffering through cancer is a great contribution. Until you see the suffering of this disease up close, most people don't really appreciate how devastating it is, until it affects them of course. If you have been touched by cancer (my mother in my case) or get a chance to see this movie or show, please make a contribution somehow to help the fight against cancer. Farah is survived by her parents who also lost another daughter to cancer in 2001. Such a tragic family story.
P.S. What a cruel joke Farah would die on the same day as Michael Jackson. While Wacko Jacko was undeniably a major star in the 80s, he ruined his legacy by turning into an ongong freak show. I'm sure history will show that like Elvis, Jackson was abusing some form of drugs that contributed to his death. Farah has many well known stars as real friends as well as her family who followed her through till the end. I'm not at all sure you can say the same about Jackson with regards to friends or family. And what is really amazing, she was still a beautiful woman at 62 - MJ looked like the freak show his life became. Sorry for all you Jackson fans out there but it pisses me off that people care more about some piece of shit like MJ who did nothing useful for human race.
