I was thinking the same thing. People want to glorify these women but they abused their power particularly when engaging in sexual acts with 13 and 14 year old boys. Exactly correct. I would not want to see my daughters become escorts and I would not want to see my son become a hobbyist. However, over the years I have got to know some fellow hobbyists and escorts and I like both. My fellow hobbyists seem to treat women with respect to a fault. Many are taken advantage of. If you read the details of the cases, you will find that in a great number of the situations, the student initiated the flirting, and in a surprising number of instances the student spent time at the teacher's home with full knowledge by the parent or parents of the student.

Most of my posts were intended to show that mitigating circumstances exist to limit the culpability of the teacher, or to show that there are instances where a teacher received extreme punishment, like more than a murderer might get.

Loss of job and teaching credentials would be sufficient in most of the cases.
