Goldberg return to wrestling !

According to me, WWE brought Goldberg back mainly to promote their game WWE 2k17. He was interacting very well with the kids and that's what they want.

But he is either going to loose or someone (probably Randy Orton) would interfere and Goldberg would win. It would be difficult for them to show Goldberg win against Brock as they have been portraying Brock as a beast and the person who beats Brock will be the next big thing in WWE.

Back in his prime days, Goldberg could beat anyone. I am a big fan of Rock and Stone cold and I was really disappointed when Goldberg beat the hell out of Rock in Backlash.

Once Jericho and Goldberg engaged in a physical altercation that saw Jericho surprisingly gain control with a front facelock before mounting the larger Goldberg.

Brock has a huge fan base. I saw him live at the WWE LIVE event at the Bell Centre and the crowd went crazy as soon as his entrance theme started. It was also great to see Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in the main event at the Bell Centre.

I never understood the fuzz about Brock. His character never was that interesting, and he seem like a jerk to be honest(in real life) Owens and Zayn are local talents so thats normal they got over here.

To get back to Brock i really tough after his very shitty UFC performance that it would tarnish his WWE "view" but not even... thats insane. He was barely able to beat Hunt with a very boring match, and he was doped on top of it... i mean like CMON !!

As for The Rock, well he just came in strong of a victory over Austin, but was going off TV for a while, thus why he put Goldberg over. It made sense. To cement Goldberg he needed a win against a big name.

Did anyone watch the match? That was a standard WCW - era Goldberg squash. Never thought they'd book to bury Lesnar of all people like that.

I am really surprised they scripted it this way, I was sure they would have Lesnar win to set up the third and final match at wrestlemania.

There was no other way this one was going down. Look at how flabby Lesnar's abs are and how fit the much older Goldberg is in comparison. There was no way Lesnar was going to win. Goldberg's win was an inspiring event for 50 plus athletes who have had nothing to root for since the 59 year old Tom Watson missed a putt which would have won the British Open about 6 years ago. That was a putt Watson should have made. The fact is the better man won - Goldberg. Lesnar willl need to get in better shape for the rematch.

Ummmmm you do realise WWE is all pre determined with scripts, ahead of time, right?

For all we know, the script could have called for hornswoggle to come out and win that match lol...

People still follow this stuff. Lady Gaga could win. Just script it that way. It's e-n-t-e-r-t-a-i-n-m-e-n-t.

I used to follow this stuff until the age of 12. My favorite shows were The Partridge Family, Giiligan's Island and the Flinstones back then.

But it doesn't surprise me anymore that grown men still follow pro wrestling. Many of them are NASCAR racing fans and many of them even voted for a tv reality show star to be the next American President.

I followed "rasslin" for several years as well but the last bunch of years i have lost interest other than to check out the diva's, mainly because it is now very watered down unlke the attitude era.

Speaking of Nascar, i was turning the tv after the Cowboys win yesterday and Nascar was on.... it was the finale of the season so i watched the last half hour, that was the only half hour i watched except for the first half hour of the Daytona 500 back in Feb, Just can't get into cars always turning left for hundreds of miles. Almost as boring as Golf or Curling! (except womens golf or womens curling)
