(Number1)Eddy Van Halen is certainly number one in my book. But one not to forget oh! Plz never forget him he was so superior with his classical approach (Number2)Randy Rhodes...and of course(number3) Zackk Wylde.

Ozzy had the chance in his career to find very good guitar players who also are very creative, they have write Ozzy career, these two are incredible. Even Jake E Lee derserve to be mention with a killer riff like Bark At the moon.

I'll mention Dave Murray of Iron Maiden and Kirk Hammet of Metallica and Dave Mustaine of megadeth. Kerry King and Jeff Hannemen are to be mention to...Slayer is among my favorite band. Fact I personnaly like to practice my guitar with some Slayer, it's a very good excercise:)

I really liked most of the solos quoted so far!

Korbel, yes Eddie VH was awesome in the 80's! I have not seen him live since, maybe it had to do with being a teenager also, so anything was just more "fresh" and new and unheard of...

I thought I would "change beat" a little and include drums!

This gets my vote too, although it isn't a solo performance. Best (non classical) guitar album ever.
