Grey hair: shave it or not? What are your thoughts on scrotum/pubic hair?

I'm in a dilemma. Over the past few months, grey hairs have begun popping up in my hair. I've noticed lately that the grey hairs are multiplying. If it keeps up at that rate, i'll be totally grey a year from now.

I ask your opinion on this important matter. Should i consider shaving my hair? Is the bald look still the 'in' thing? Or should i start to dye my hair like many people do? Or should i simply let it be....keep my hair as is and not do a thing to it. I need your help. Will a bald Doc Holliday show up at the next GT? Or one with blond or black hair? Or the same one, with some grey on the sides. Will sps refuse to see me if i'm bald or if my hair is totally grey? Will it affect my performance negatively? I want to know.

If its just going grey, I'd leave it be. The only reason I'd shave my head completely bald is if I was going bald in other places on my head to begin with.

As far as dying your hair; from what I hear its not worth the trouble. For guys, going grey isnt such a big deal. Just look at George Clooney: he seems to be doing just fine with the ladies, despite his grey hair.

Maybe you girls would know
Isn't there a salon based " Grecian formula " for women, that could be used on a man as well ?

I'm sure there is, and it would be easier for Doc to have a pro do it correctly, rather than do it at home

And since I know you Doc, you would not look better shaved

Best Regards

LOL, Doc, let it go grey, its distinguishing in men, if you want to go bald go for it, but don't dye it any other color. If you read all my posts, you will see i am a natural kind of guy, no fake boobs, no hair extensions, no implants anywhere, AU NATURAL..If, it bothers you that much there are methods out there to get the grey out naturally in a slow process and with periodical treatments will stay away til you dye(pun ) or til it doesn't bother you. And if you go bald, your ears will get bigger cause the ladies will start to pull on them when they cant grab a hand full of hair.... Happy grooming mate.

I dyed my hair blond 11 years ago. Second time i had done that. Some girls liked it, but looking at a picture later made me wonder what the hell was i thinking.

After going through your comments, i decided i won't dye my hair. I'm now debating to leave it as is or shave it. Still debating.....

In my opinion, I'd rather have a full set of hair (regardless of colour) rather than no hair at all. I finally had the opportunity to finally meet you in person @ VIP-3. Your hair looked fine Doc....trust me, it'd be a mistake for you to shave it. Enjoy having hair while you're still able to, imho.

Hey Doc, my opinion, if you have a full head of hair don't shave. You can cut your hair short or buy some just for men. I'm Sure your girlfriends will have some good advice to give you. Remember your not the only guy with this dilemma.

I got my first gray hair in high school, when I was 17. Not long after that, the sides of my head were white and my friends started comparing me to Reed Richards (from the Fantastic Four). But I was in my 20's for God's sake! I still had this black beard & mustache, though, and people would tell me that I looked like the devil, which was okay with me. Even that, now, has started going gray. I have no problem with hair dye, and I don't think you should, either. When you first start using it, you will probably look ridiculous, but you just have to find the right shade. Experiment for a while and find what you are comfortable with. And I'll tell you another thing -- you'll be amazed at how many people in your life don't notice that you've dyed your hair. Seriously. White hair one day, brown the next. Nobody notices or says anything. Just do it and don't worry about it so much.

I have been having grey hair on my head for the longest time. I started dying my hair on my head regularly for 5 years now and I enjoy it, no regrets! As far as pubic hair goes, then I shaved it where it's most important, but I would never dyed it down there, no way!!

For me, I've been getting grey/white hair on the side a la "Reed Richards" (which drives me nuts). So usually now, I just cut my hair short on the sides (ie. number 2 or 1 1/2). Having long hair is no longer an option...:(

To the guys that do dye their hair: I've heard that once you start, it ends up discolouring/damaging the real colour of your hair in which you then have no choice but to continue with dying your hair: true?

Alright, i think i'll leave my hair as is. If mother nature wanted me to have grey hair, so be it. Thanks for all the input, guys and gals.

Speaking of grey hair.....i need to share a secret.

About 20-25 years when i was about 29-30, my ex-gf noticed that scrotum hair had turned white. So i grabbed a mirror to check for myself and damn it, she was right! So i began to shave off my scrotum hair since girl's i'd sleep with afterwards (that was in my pre-hobbyist years) would always comment about it. I'd often hear the comment "You look younger than you are, but the white hair on your scrotum gives away your true age." So i've shaved it off since. I also trim (sometimes fully) my pubic hair for various reasons....for hygiene, for appearance...but also to get rid of my increasing number of grey/white pubic hairs.

Have you experienced the same thing? Am i in the minority? Do grey/white scrotum hair turn off sps?? What about pubic hair??

J'ai commencé à raser mes cheveux pas à cause de la couleur mais à cause de la perte de ceux-ci.
J'aime 100 fois plus le look rasé qu'avoir le cheuveux long et caler.

As for the second part of your topic, shave it all and wax your ass while your at it.... I love a clean kitty so i do the same for them, shave everything, and the night before an encounter i shower the twig and berries with baby powder..No complaints yet...
