Have you ever met a SP that you were hyped up for but then met her & felt so disappointed?

The worst hype is Brittany/Lynne at Eleganza in 2006. The pics posted by John in the members area were stunning. She's model material at the age of 18. Man and those gravity defying boobs were out of this world and she was 18! It took me a year to get to see her. She was impossible to book and left at some point and came back in 2007. By the time I saw her in 2007, she gained a bit of weight and was older. She didn't look as hot and her attitude left much to be desired. She wasn't really into it. I don't think I got all the items on the menu as advertised. She's too good for me o_OIn retrospect, I should have saved that 2h donation and stayed home.

For some girls, 1 year IS a long time. Bad habits and all... too much McD's, poutine, drugs, just generally not taking good care of themselves... they add up, and girls can age REALLY quickly. Especially in Montreal, it seems. John was usually pretty good though of maintaining high standards. It may be with extremely rose-colored glasses, and I may be guilty of romanticizing long-ago memories - but I had good experiences 90% of the time with John and Eleganza. Miss that guy.

I agree with an earlier post from Thor, that's good general advice for all - manage your expectations, and you won't be bitterly disappointed. Easy to say, hard to always practice... :)

Exactly! One year can make a lot of difference esp for girls in the industry, with late nights and general not taking care of themselves. Even in university, I am amazed how one year can age the freshmen girls, studying hard, partying hard, bad eating habits can age you alot in one year.

John had really amazing girls that no agency can match since.

I stay away from SPs that fall in one of these categories, (it does not matter how much I like their pictures and profiles.
I had few horrible experiences in the past, but once I followed this rule, I did not have any bad experience)

1.those who shamelessly and pathetically beg for gifts and money on their twitter account. Since when it became OK to beg for money?
few years ago it was unthinkable that a person with a little bit of dignity and self-respect do this. its a HUGE turn-off for me

2. those who share their experience with other clients on their twitter account ( "last night was amazing with Mr x.(a picture of sushi attached))"

3. those with mixed reviews: few bad reviews can be due to pushy clients, etc. but when 30% of reviews of SPs are bad, there is a good chance that bad experience happens for me as well. therefore, I wont take a risk

4. SPs with "no review policy": we can not trust just pictures these days since they are inaccurate representation of reality most of the time
many of SPs that are mentioned here fall into the "mixed review" category, which makes me wonder why some clients value positive reviews more than negative ones? to me is the exact opposite. I never leave a review when I am happy. but I definitely leave a negative review when I am unhappy about something. that's why I care about negative reviews more than those who rave about an SP

I am guilty of that too, I only leave Google reviews when I have bad experiences. I try to remember to note the good ones too but often forget

Around the corner
I have never really had a bad experience.
I have had one or two that were not as great as I expected, one was totally my fault as I picked someone who’s Twitter and personality I thought was great but she was very petit and a spinner and I am not usually attracted to that.
She was a super nice lady and I am glad that I met her but in the end she really is not my type. I am sure she deserves all her good reviews as she really tries to please and is very easy to talk to.

The other was someone who looks great and everything would have been fine except she kept calling me babe and that was just a total turn off.
I didn’t write a review because I consider the first one to be 100% my fault she looked exactly like her photos and she is an attractive lady just not my type and the second she has many positive reviews and I was not about to do anything to her reputation because I didn’t like being called babe, that would have been totally unfair.
